idk i've said before quite a few times but i've always massively preferred stylization compared to just making my avatar as realistic as possible dfnjfdjn i just find the latter very limiting (and borderling uncanny) personally so i'm happy i'm finally being catered to

140

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 20h

it feels like people are becoming less afraid of making their avatars look silly or toony now also nice to see that we're starting to get stuff made for species you don't normally see products for

260

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 20h

glad to see that recent furry heads and parts are starting to head down a more stylized route again, i really missed that

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

nvm i've made a few sales since then dfnjfdnj still, i need to get off my ass and make something

010

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

there's always so much cool stuff released at abno and it overwhelms me bc i wanna buy all of it but then i never end up using most of the stuff i get (or it overflows me with mod ideas and i just. never get to any of them lol) doesn't help that i'm also doing a daily drawing challenge

030

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

oof i haven't made a single sale in abno so far.... oh well, maybe that's just bc i'm only reselling older stuff

oh shit i still need to put my flamingo up on the mp... sorry for the wait dfnjfdnj

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

i'm not dead! i've just. not been on sl much lately tbh dfnjdfjn my interest in being on it comes and goes, and right now it's kinda been the latter

030

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

i got the winterwolf and a bunch of parts to make a cool edgy deviantart oc wolf but a lot of it requires unlinking and relinking parts which gets tedious for me dnjnfjd

030

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

i kinda wanna get the new winterwolf avatar so i can make edgy deviantart style ocs with it (especially after watching the wolfstory pilot)

040

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

like trust me i have tons of cool mod ideas in my brain especially when it comes to halloween but... idk my actual willingness to do those mods is really low and idk why am i just. burned out maybe?

020

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

sadly i don't think i'll be releasing anything new for trick or treat week this year dfjmndfjn my motivation to make mods is really low rn (been mostly focusing on art) so it'll be the raven mods on a 25% discount!

130

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

huh, quite a few vrchat avatars creators i liked are leaving gumroad for jinxxy lately did something happen that made them all want to leave? (apart from the ns/fw ban that happened a while ago)

160

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

oh fuck i havent posted here in a hot minute. oops i havent really been on sl *as much* lately but im still on! i got event stuff to work on lol

i can't deny, i still have a pretty big soft spot for the og crux. the design and vibe is so 2000s and i love it for that

1204

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

plus spooky season is coming up, so it's a pretty good avatar choice for that

including me, idk when i'll put the item up dfjnujfnd could be the day after, could be a while after sometimes i forget or get busy....

020

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

abno ends tomorrow! go grab the items you want now while you can bc as per usual, some stores take a while to put event items up after the event ends

someone needs to make a drinking bird head/avatar

050

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

seeing a lot more open pony usage lately... might get back into it, bc that avatar is super cute and there's tons of stuff for it now so it's pretty easy to customize

000

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

oh damn another jomo head came out already i hope they do a dragon one sometime....

120

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

i'm not the only one who still uses the snokra or the snaggletooth avatars sometimes am i? idk i just think they're very cool, albeit slightly dated avatars

230

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

i couldn't find many dragon, dinosaur, or reptilian parts that i like enough to use a lot years ago - now, scalie parts i love are being made consistently and it's great

040

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

i've gotta say the variety of sl furry stuff is leagues better now than it ever was when i first joined half a decade ago when i first joined there really wasn't much for species that weren't dogs or cats, and even then it was only for specific breed types. now? you have basically almost everything

150

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

NOOOO i missed the jungle jam party.... oh well.

010

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

you can literally make mods, why can't you make the ads too 😭

030

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

auuggghh while it's definitely a small number of stores, i've noticed more and more furry creators are using a i in their ads for their skins (usually for fancy text and flashy looking backgrounds) and it's driving me crazy

2131

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

i still really want to make a sim (probably a small one but still) that's like a vaporwave/80s themed city in a similar vain to what palmwood was sometime but idek where or how i'd start. i'm not the best at building stuff 😭

020

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

ngl i sometimes think about how the person who introduced me to sl and i don't talk anymore and it makes me sad (they were very special to me at the time but thinks just didn't work out) but i'm relieved that it hasn't ruined my ability to still enjoy sl as a whole

020

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

my first mod for abno (seaborne) was the eelz - i've definitely improved since then but i'm still pretty happy with them i remember being pretty nervous at the time though since, being my first event release i didn't know how people would react to them but people seemed to like them!

040

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

i'm very glad to have visited most rounds since then though, and super honoured to have been able to participate in seaborne onwards

140

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

crazy to think that abno started the year i joined sl - i don't think i visited the first round bc i was very new and didn't really know of many events at the time. sucks too bc the first round was vaporwave themed so i would've been all over it

150

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

okay it means any letter aww if i had known this earlier i could've gotten myself another party worm lol but i was too late

040

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

i still would love to see more worm on a string stuff on sl - i've actually been meaning to do a mod for that new therion head but i keep getting sidetracked lol

060

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

hey so i'm dumb, what does the wildcard/question mark on lucky chairs mean does it mean it's a specific letter but hidden so you have a random chance of winning, or does it mean any letter works and anyone can grab it?

230

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

i hate that i don't really like turning on sound in sl anymore bc i enjoy listening to the ambience of a lot of worlds but whenever i'm in a world that has any amount of players in it they always have to spam sound effects and gestures and it's so annoying

390

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

i'm so glad to see scalie avatars become popular again

010

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

omg so many raptors inworld rn (i mean this in a positive way)

110

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

i hate that i saw an ad about mesh teeth for evox and i thought it was a caine head.........

010

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

makes me really happy to see people enjoying my flamingo, especially as i was worried it wasn't gonna do super well at first i saw someone wearing it earlier, made me very happy to see 🥺

040

your local pink worm-on-a-string @pis-secondlife.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

also yes i will be adding them as an update for the flamingo mod :3
