yeah we use the version with that function. it's so seldom used nowadays that in my 3 months as a cashier i never once had to do so, but every so often i find bits of paper jammed in the feeder

an actual switch *puller* tool has two flexible prongs that are used to push in the two plastic tabs on the switch that clip into the mounting plate. switch *openers* are usually solid plastic or aluminum

for context, this type of tool is used to remove the top housing of a keyswitch for modding. you set the opener tool down, line up the switch, and push down. it does not remove the switches from the keyboard

was looking through my saved photos and was reminded of the time that massdrop somehow misinterpreted the switch opening tool that they were selling as a "switch puller" and marketed it as such, including one of the funniest product photos ever

oddly i seem to have had autosave turned off?? for most of the project's lifespan?? so i actually can't go back and look at versions prior to the hours leading up to the final edit. there *were* large gaps but i was actively working on it throughout september
