It is extremely disheartening that a Houston neighbor was murdered in cold blood by ICE. I am grieving with you as is most of our city. Mr. Arujo was a hardworking family man who deserved better. I am heartbroken for his family.

There are conservative mega donors backing Paxton and the other clowns that you mentioned. They don’t care if he is a criminal. All they care about is that he supports putting the 10 commandments in every public school classroom, he is anti-abortion and he is anti-immigrant. 💰 💰

On the brighter side, I checked to see how many votes Crockett and Talarico got in their March dem primaryThey received over 2 million combined. Granted that wasn’t a runoff like the one last week so people showed up. The Iran war, slush fund and accountability issues and more may excite Texans? 🤞

Only 8% of eligible voters showed up to vote in this primary. Paxton got slightly over 850,000 votes and Cornyn got around 500,000. Paxton is not popular here. People just don’t bother voting. MAGA people came out in droves though. I can’t understand it. 😔
