PostgreSQL's serial isn't a type. It's a sequence + an integer + a nextval() default, glued together. Which is why GRANT INSERT on the table isn't enough — the role also needs USAGE on the sequence. generated always as identity doesn't have that problem. All ten below 👇

A dark diff-style cheatsheet titled "Don't do This in psql", listing ten PostgreSQL anti-patterns — char(n), varchar(n), money, serial, timestamp, BETWEEN, NOT IN, CamelCase identifiers, table inheritance and trust authentication — each with the wrong SQL in red, the recommended form in green, and a one-line explanation.

After watched @starbuxman.joshlong.com latest instalment about youtu.be/ep8IZl8sk5A?..., I’m curious whether there will be some support for multitenancy in the ConcurrencyLimit annotation 🤔 I imagine to setting this limit only for single tenant @spring.io wdyt?

💡 Didn’t add your data source manually? No problem. Spring Debugger detects active database connections — including Testcontainers and @mongodb — and displays them in the Database tool window.
