'Brexit lies are exposed, the debate is settled... we must rejoin the EU' - Sadiq Khan
This is searing stuff from Sadiq Khan, and his arguments for the UK to rejoin the EU are as clear and comprehensive as it gets.

When all the details of Trumps activities eventually emerge it will be the most shocking indictment of a public figure ever in world history. Even then there will be millions of Americans who will either not believe it or more troublingly brush it off. This shouldn't happen in a democracy.

This is a stark warning: the climate emergency is here, yet the Government moves at a snail’s pace. It's time for a national strategy: funding cool hubs for vulnerable groups, mandating cooling and ventilation in new homes, supporting drought-affected farmers and heat-proofing NHS facilities.
2026: The driest July since records began — bold headline over a close-up of parched, straw-like grass, with an orange "MET WARNING" band at the top and the Liberal Democrats logo at the bottom.

I've never regarded Kuensberg a journalist, she's more of a presenter (a biased one). The BBC seems to merely tolerate proper journalism, the time it fostered it has long since gone. But Ms Cadwalladr is the real deal, widely respected because of it and the envy of presenters everywhere.

Nigel Farage’s 'Pro-Sleaze' By-Election Is A Sign Of Terminal Weakness
The Reform leader's desperate decision to call a back-me-or-sack-me by-election is a sign of a politician who knows he is finally being exposed for the man he really is, argues Adam Bienkov

Wake up Republican voting America. Currently America is a Dictatorship just like Russia. Congress rubber stamps Trump's actions just as the Duma does Putin's. Any apparent differences are only cosmetic. If you can't see that you are brain dead.

Condemning riots isn't enough. We need policy action, including an immediate appraisal of X as a vehicle for coordinating far-right disorder. And we need political leadership, to challenge white nationalism as an idea, not to validate it daily and then complain when it turns violent.

The IRS leak that was the subject of Trump’s suit occurred in 2018-2020, when he was president. So, in effect, he was suing over what his own IRS did. Then he dropped the suit after he got his own Justice Department to give him a $1.8B slush fund to reward his thug army. What an outrageous scam.

The name fooled a lot of people. For years, the BBC used Claire Fox as its "leftwing" voice on the Moral Maze, though her positions were clearly extreme right. The line-up was typically: hard right (Melanie Phillips etc), right, centrist and far right. Which is more or less the BBC idea of balance.
