I was going to make a joke about "it's Platinum Angel that stops you from losing" before realizing that's probably what Darksteel Angel also does. Sure enough it's just better Platinum Angel. (I kept a Platinum Angel in my wallet to counter 'You just lost The Game!' back in the day)

Also, this picture is referring to the Omega frame attacking a dragon the size of a building, but without context it looks like my palico and lil OMG are acting out a gradeschool Godzilla play and I love it.

After a rough couple weeks, it's amazing how much hearing eScape can cheer me up. Hearing it in Monster Hunter Wilds was just an extra treat. The Omega fights are some of my favorites in FFXIV. The references in the MHW version were cool to see.

One of my favorite things to do when writing for personal Pathfinder projects is to see just how many puns / dumb references I can make into game options.

A feat called "Senseless Violence" from the book "And My Acts! Act II: Extrasensory Perfection"

Prerequisites sensation muse, expert in Occultism
Studying the many ways in which creatures perceive
their surroundings has also taught you how to inflict
greater injuries to creatures whose senses fail them.
Your weapon and unarmed attacks with which you’re
at least trained deal 2 additional damage against
creatures that are unable to use one of their normal
precise or imprecise senses, such as creatures with
the deafened condition. This damage increases to 3 if
you’re a master in Occultism and 4 if you’re legendary.

This only applies to creatures that lack a sense they
usually have, not to creatures that already normally

or a person that has been deaf since birth

Made this on my phone so it's not especially pretty but it gets the job done highlighting the similarities (a more detailed breakdown is in the alt text).

Palworld's "Menasting" compared to Pokemoncs "Giratina" with color-coded similarities.

Yellow: crescent faceplate above the eyes on the forehead
Green: diamond shape in the center of the faceplate that goes over the "nose" and points up in the middle
Purple: additional facial covering in a bat-like shape that extends upward and outward dramatically but thins out quite a bit towards where the mouth would be.
Black: actual face is recessed a bit behind the yellow, green, and purple areas, in a wide, thin opening.
Blue: two thin lines across the black facial area on either side of the "nose"
Red: semicircle eyes at the top-outside corners of the face, shaped in a way that looks like typical "angry cartoon" eyes.
White: parallel lines extending down a long slender body towards the tail.

In Shadowbringers, FFXIV had a lot of "biblically accurate" sort of enemies. Kinda wish we got to see a biblically accurate Lalafell.

A potato with lots of growths, called "eyes" sometimes, which can grow into new roots.
In FFXIV, Lalafell are frequently called potatoes.
Biblically accurate angels are frequently depicted with numerous eyes surrounding the body.
Making this a "biblically accurate lalafell" of sorts (biblically accurate lalangel?)
