tori @pinksymphony.bsky.social · 25/04/2026

lets not forget that the portuguese right wing government rejected the proposal for a 25th april museum & also the far right called the 25th april revolution "miserable" btw i wonder why the right hates so much the revolution that brought democracy (sarcasm)

thats so weird, here it is included in your taxes or whatever (idk the details), it isn't the best and the right wing govt keeps destroying it (they hate it) and it can take a long time to get your first appointment for anything, but once you are in it is sort of okay

"The bourgeois clap-trap about the family and education, about the hallowed co-relation of parents and child, becomes [...] torn asunder, and their children transformed into simple articles of commerce and instruments of labour." (had to cut a part out bc of bsky letters limit)

interestingly, the idea children are treated as property is somewhat present in the ch2 of the communist manifesto "Do you charge us with wanting to stop the exploitation of children by their parents? To this crime we plead guilty."

Hey seriously, literally in the bills it says they'll also use identifying information, such as your age data for "other purposes". That means your data goes into a government surveillance database. This would be for ANY *OS*, which is the thing your fucking PC runs off of. Call your reps NOW.

like lets be honest is someone more likely to buy a physical newspaper from someone that is selling them irl and able to talk about the contents or an online subscription at some random small website plus newspapers avoid online censorship

tori @pinksymphony.bsky.social · 18/04/2026

and people still mock other communists for selling newspapers 😭 i see people mocking trotskyists especially for that, when newspapers are actually v useful and people don't understand that for some reason people are more likely to strike a convo over physical stuff
