I disagree, if they start winning with these hateful policies vs republicans, others could join them and next it may be another minority that's rights are stripped by both parties. You are free to vote how you want, but as a trans woman, i will not vote for my freedoms and rights to be stripped.

This is how i feel, i would do an absent vote if in Texas as if he wins we could see anti-trans stances everywhere. Maybe even blue states where we have some reguge.

I am in Ohio right now, i planned on moving into my boyfriends house here but can't due to hate. This is horrible as it feels like even our nonprofit orgs that are supposed to be for us are not capitulating. What a time to be a trans person.

I think they could pass bills to help people out of hard situations then. Better shelters, financial support, ways to offer a place to go for unhoused people. If there is a place they can go to, offer help to get them there. Warnings and help should be a default at minimum.

This is still them removing our ability to renew our passports and update our gender markers. Remember that, we still are losing rights. It is better than them revoking passports but still.
