Flower Dancing in the Wind: Aerith Zine Vol. II @aerithzine.bsky.social · 31/07/2025

🎀WRITER SPOTLIGHT Please welcome aerithpetals @pinkpetals99.bsky.social, who we’re excited to welcome to her first-ever zine! Her writing is charming and deep—perfect to express every corner of Aerith’s gentle soul. ✨ 💐AO3: archiveofourown.org/users/pinkpe...

A graphic introducing Writer aerithpetals. Their socials are @pinkpetals99 on Bluesky and AO3.

About: “Hello, I'm Petals and this is the first ever zine I am contributing to so l am super excited to be a part of this! I've grown up with video games and FF7 is one of my absolute favourites. I also love reading and writing and have written a few fanfics for FF7”

What do I love about Aerith?: “Aerith has always been such a strong character to me. I love her willingness to help others and how she finds the good side to people even when she's dealt with hardships in the past. Her perseverance, bubbly personality, and caring heart are only some aspects of her that make her such a memorable character. o me, Aerith is someone I would love to have by my side as a friend.”

aerithpetals’ writing sample is an excerpt from “rewrite, rewind, in time”:

One of the parts she dreaded the most about this journey they had to take was knowing how much her friends would hurt after her death. She had felt it all in her visions: their grief, their suffering, and their growing desire for revenge. And from within the Lifestream, she knew she would feel the same loss. To not be able to console or comfort them. Her inability to communicate with those she loved was the source of her nightmares.

Often when the party came to rest for the night and she would lay in bed staring at the stars or the ceiling of the inn, she silently wished that she could have more time. To live a full life, with him and everyone else. To change fate forever and defeat Sephiroth without any sacrifices.

Every night, that was her wish. Her silent prayer.

Maiden's Kiss | Rated: T | 4k | One-shot The facts were simple. Cloud was a frog, and she was a maiden who could potentially break the spell that he'd been under for the past three days. It was worth a shot, or at least offering him the choice. archiveofourown.org/works/255224

So I've been working on in this fanfic since 2022 about the FF7 Remake. The trilogy might be over and done before I finish it. 😆 It's about the POV of Omni-Aerith, navigating the Lifestream at the end of the world. Chapter 5 is now up. archiveofourown.org/works/40775553 via @ao3org
