i don't think anything's happening for the 30th anniversary of the manga this year 🥲 but next year is the 25th anni of the movie. where there is delusion there is hope

(choosing to believe this instead of me being creatively blocked/bankrupt)

being aro and very into shipping is a very silly existence, like no wonder i can't come up with romance plots and am at the mercy of the fanfic mines

i'm still struggling to get back into drawing properly, those 2 simple pictures took a lot out of me 😭

made it in time for glasses day where i live! lear wearing cheren's glasses

fun fact: the vast majority of my 🏓 youtube videos' watch time are from middle-aged japanese men lmao

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

poma gameplay is pretty interesting though i’m still getting used to it. i got a little hyped for WiWa and have been desperately trying to scratch the pkmn itch 😔🙏

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

certain popular characters from z-a still aren't in poma, i wanna see people go crazy for them lol

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

i got lear’s first unit now i can date him and make him do stuff with his cute teacher 🗣️

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

can pkmn spinoff yaoi help me out of this slump

100

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

anyway, 主♂チェレ is kinda ⭐️🌙-coded if you squint!

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

tragic: i just noticed i accidentally deleted my nds file for pkmn w2!

leavanny reminds me of adult smile (i'm playing pokemon again 😌)

my jp reading skills have definitely improved but my study sessions are still sparse 🐌

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

i wear glasses, my hair is black and parted in a similar way so maybe i have Smile vibes

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

watched all the extras, including the whole movie with audio commentary, and i didn't really learn anything new 😅 i should really take a good look at the jp interviews in the books i bought

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

BUT that means the “new subtitles” in the description were a lie!

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

UPDATE: the subtitles seem to be very similar to the old DVD ones 😅 that’s a shame, but that means the fansubs are still the best choice lol

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

yayy!!!! 🤣🤩🥳 i still have something to do before i can look at it tho!!!

if 🏓 had a more conventionally attractive art style, would it have gotten more fujoshi creators? but i’ve liked certain manga with ugly styles (COUGHgamblingCOUGH) that have attracted a lot of fujoshi throughout the years, so i don’t know…

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

if i can get my life together then i can finally draw in peace 😩 when will that happen lol

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

i regularly use things that look similar but are meant to be worn as boxer briefs, that's why i'm wondering....

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

thinking about movie 🌙's uniform. is underwear worn under the spats(?), because if so that sounds like a lot of layers to wear over your crotch during the summer

110

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

and by "ancient" i mean from 2002!

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

a few months ago a certain jp forum and its archive got wiped out, but i think it's been restored?? i can read the ancient threads about 🏓 again lmao

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

even though ⭐️ has a lot of younger brothers and people who’ve looked up to him, he cares the most about living up to 🌙’s expectations 🤧🥺🥺🥺🥺

010

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

adult ⭐️ becomes muscular while 🌙 never does and seems to stay slim, that means ⭐️ is the only one with 雄っぱい

010

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

but i see him as the bigger yearner in the relationship and i think it’s really cute…… 🤧

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

🌙 has a very passive personality so i cant see him as a desperate or attacking uke

100

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

there are a lot of parallels between the two couples but this marked difference in dynamic keeps things interesting for me :)

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

my other favorite couple is the seme worshipping the uke, but pcsm is more like the uke worshipping the seme?

⭐️ says he's a capricorn, and i got back into 🏓 in that date range...!

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

i watched all of 🐯&🐰 last year and really liked it, might rewatch it soon. despite it being very very very popular with fujoshi i’m not interested in shipping any of the characters lmao

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

i always think about how i could've been deeper into 🏓 years ago and not have missed out on fan content that got deleted....and i would've been better at drawing the characters by now. weep

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

i thought about ⭐️🌙 happily playing together at the end of the story and i started crying like smile 😭

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

1080p upload of the movie got removed for copyright violation 😔 hope it was enough to get more people to download the fansubs...

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

when i got into 🏓 i wanted to collect every official document i could find available but i havent done that 😅

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

from the cinebook. i think i saw fan art based on this photo!

010

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

i just noticed the shift button is crooked because it wasn't seated properly!

000

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

i got a white star keycap for fairly cheap, it will have to do for now lol. it’s hard to capture on camera, but the case has fine glitters which kinda suits the star theme, right? 🌌

RORY @pingpongrory.bsky.social · 31/05/2026

happy blue moon day, smile! 🌕

it's the month of a blue moon!

i’m so rusty, i don’t know how to get back into drawing and make the things i want lol
