Question: How do you celebrate Women's History Month in your content and community?

Answer: I've played some games made by women-led studios and also participated in some collabs to help uplift and meet other women and fems!

Question: If you could describe your streams/content in three words, what would they be?

Answer: Warm, comforting, and welcoming.

Question: Who was your first cartoon crush?

Answer: Probably Robin Hood and Maid Marian from Disney's Robin Hood haha (yes they're foxes...don't question it).

Question: Tell us about one of your passions.

Answer: One of my passions is getting more young girls, women, and fems into technology. I'm a big advocate for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and my life outside of content creation is always trying to promote the industry I work in (technology) and making it more welcoming and inclusive.

What does Black History Month mean to you? As a Black southerner, Black History Month being the month of love (not the capitalistic, transactional kind, but the ethos of love in its all forms) is something I hold onto dearly. While I have had some not great experiences at the beginning of the year, Black History Month is a celebration of Black people from across the world from every stretch of land and sea. It's a time to celebrate how diverse, intersectional and amazing the Black/African Diaspora is, not only in the trials and tribulations that we've had to face but also the joy, foundations and truth telling we've had to navigate through time, lineages and ancestry. Black History is year-round and knows no borders/boundaries AND we love Black History around here.

It's about occupying spaces that aren't traditionally ours. It's about lifting voices within the community and celebrating all our wins."

Q2: "How do you celebrate Pride Month in your content and community?" A2: "This month for pride we are celebrating by joining a raid train that is raising money for Point of Pride! Similar to what I do in Hispanic Heritage month, we will be learning about a figure from queer history every stream as well!" Q3: "What has been your experience in the streaming and content creation space as someone part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community?" A3: "Over the past year soooo much has changed for me. I have started exploring my gender identity and my community took to using my correct pronouns right away. I also have recently come out as a lesbian to my community and I have been met with nothing but love and support. I know I have a safe space on the internet or I would have never felt comfortable to do that."

Q4: "How can folks advocate for and uplift your community?" A4: "People can educate themselves on history, challenges, and experiences of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. They can work on using inclusive language with their friends, family, workplace, and just everyday situations they are in. They can speak out against discrimination in the community and use their privilege to address any kind of homophobia or transphobia." Q5: "Is there a LGBTQIA2S+ character in any books/movies/shows that you resonate with, and why?" A5: "Charlie Bradbury from Supernatural!! She was the first femme queer person I saw on tv who had all of the same nerdy interest that I had. She is freaking badass and always inspired me." Q6: "Is there anything else you would like to share?" A6: "Queer voices will not be silenced. I am so proud of everyone in the community. I know it's not safe for everyone to come out but know you are seen and loved so so much. Remember to take care of each other this month and year round."

A2: “Being a Pacific Islander, Chamorro in particular, I love to educate my community about Guam culture by showing recipes of Chamorro cuisine, sharing Islander music I grew up listening to, and introducing Chamorro language. For example, I always greet my family by saying "Håfa Adai!" Q3: "What are you proud of, but never have an excuse to talk about?" A3: "My grandparents introduced me to a Chamorro song called "Hagu" by Flora Baza Quan. It's a popular love song from Guam! I learned it on my guitar and educated myself on the Chamorro language/pronunciation. I performed it for my mother and grandparents, which made their hearts so happy!"

Happy Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month! At a time when knowledge of our shared history is being destroyed, it’s imperative that we take action to respect and celebrate the contributions of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Islanders.

The New York Department of Education posted this AAPI Heritage Month graphic on their website. It's a simple graphic with red and blue abstract shapes, some tiling, and some flowers - all surrounding a blue semi-rectangular shape that says "Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month".

And as a white-japanese trans person, this also means using my privileges to advocate for our Black, Brown and Indigenous Trans community members."

Q2: :What has been your experience as a Trans content creator?" A2: "Being a Trans creator has been a mixed bag for me. Some of the tough stuff can be overwhelming & even life-threatening at times, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. But one of the best things has been finding a sense of community online. Connecting with other Trans creators & 2SLGBTQIA+ people has shown me that I don’t have to face those hard times alone, and that support has been a real game-changer." Q3: "How can people better advocate for the Trans community?" A3: "There’s no perfect way to be an ally to trans folks. The trans community is so diverse, and everyone’s experiences and needs are different. The key is to be respectful and keep doing your best. That’s why being an ally means speaking up for equality and inclusion, whether or not you know any trans people personally. Keep learning. Have conversations with trans folks if they’re open to it, but also make an effort to educate yourself, and use your voice."

Q4: "Do you have a role model that has inspired you or made the most impact to your life?" A4: "I grew up on a farm in the rural central so-called Canada, where I didn’t have much access to media. Farming was a huge part of my life for 15 years, but I was a creative kid who wasn’t really into it, which made things tough. One thing that helped me escape and connect with the life I really wanted was animation and cinema. They gave me a break from reality—especially when I was being bullied a lot at school.

One of the first shows I got into was Sailor Moon. Naoko Takeuchi’s work introduced me to a world of fantasy and magic that totally inspired me. It motivated me to pursue illustration and go after a creative career. Looking back, I think it was my first big step toward finding my own path."

Q5: "What have been some of your highlights in your streaming journey?" A5: "By far the biggest highlights in my streaming journey is always prioritizing participating in mutual aid or charity. this is something that I have done since day one and will continue to do so. Mutual Aid is about cooperating to serve community members. Mutual aid creates networks of care and generosity to meet the immediate needs of our neighbors. It also addresses the root causes of challenges we face and demands transformative change." Q6: "If you could be any dessert, which would you be and why?" A6: "Nutter Butter Cheesecake.
