Teenager asked me to look someone up on IMDB for him and that led to me recovering memories of being slightly obsessed with watching Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw when I was very small and I read a synopsis of the plot and it is AWFUL. 💀 And now this is stuck in my head probably forever.

I feel like I've been a lil absent, but rest assured I'm still thiking about OFMD 24/7. Was watching Criminal Minds earlier and all I could think was "Rossi is totally Fed Izzy" and now I have no idea what even happened in that ep. Also Ed is Count Duckula and Izzy is Igor. I will not elaborate.

I spent many years in my local youth council, working with the Scottish Youth Parliament and to a lesser extent the UKYP, and the biggest takeaway from that for me is just how little interest the adults in government have in young people or their opinions. I had really hoped things had changed. 😔

UK Youth Parliament looks set to be axed

Some say scrapping the parliament for 11 to 18-year-olds would be a blow for democracy, while others say it is overdue.

Buying toys, collecting things, playing Zelda, taking up crafts we couldn't afford when I was a kid.

What this doesn't say is that some bastard on twitter has been claiming they've planted a b*mb in the school my kids go to, and the school have said exactly fuck all. I'm 99.999% sure this is a hoax but if the school isn't going to address it then I'm not taking the chance of sending them in.

Police Scotland Lanarkshire

Chief Inspector Paul Doyle said: “We are investigating what is believed to be a malicious communication sent to a high school in East Kilbride on the morning of Monday, 7 September, 2026.

“There has been subsequent online messaging regarding this, which is also being investigated.

“I want to reassure the public, we’ve carried out thorough searches of the area with specialist resources, including an explosives search dog, and nothing of concern was discovered. Officers will continue to have an increased presence in the area and anyone with concerns can speak to them or call us on 101.

“I want to be clear: making hoax threats is a criminal offence and we’re doing all we can to trace the person responsible.”

Just been to see Trainspotting in the cinema since I was too young the first time around - it has entirely rekindled my absolute adoration of Ewen Bremner. 😍

This just reminded me that in the last episode when they're all leaving Spanish Jackie's, Frenchie always reminds me of Phil Lynott for some reason. 😂

tumblr is having a great one about this, little masterpiece of a post I'd say

first post reads: Pro-censorship wattpad refugees drama is so funny to me because when I started using ao3 as a kid I was a devout mormon and I thought that reading anything even remotely pornagraphic was a sin and would ruin my life. So when I was 13 and found ao3 I went "oh awesome I found a fanfic website with a filtering system so I won't ever randomly stumble into porn. This is great! I was really worried about seeing something I didn't want to see on the other platforms." I didn't read any smut online until like three years later. If a mormon 13 year old can figure out 'don't like don't read' wattpad users can too cmon you guys i believe in you.
reblog reads: "you're less internet savy than a 13 year old mormon" is a diabolical thing to say to someone, I support it

OH. I just discovered the guy who did this is the same guy who wrote a DM article diagnosing Jason Arday with Pseudologia Fantastica, which was published the day he died. Istg he better be struck off.

I watched the Channel 4 thing. I'm fucking ✨️seething✨️ Previously they've also had programmes claiming the Dyslexia doesn't really exist and that Autism is just the extreme male brain, so I wasn't expecting much. However this was way worse than I feared.

If Daniel's new school could get ParentPay set up, that would be fucking great. 😑 Poor boy has been having snacks for lunch because the only thing the canteen has that he'll eat costs more than his free meals allowance and I just want to give him more to spend. 😭
