here’s what happens when you buy the ‘remove watermark’ in-app purchase in my iOS app OK Video. isn’t it cute?

apple understands i’d rather look at our kitty instead of the current time

A screenshot of my lockscreen, prominently featuring a photo of one of our kittens, a female tuxedo cat. A fancy depth effect renders the kitten in front of large digits denoting the current time. Some of the digits are almost fully obscured by the cat.

from the editor hit the (new) bottom right button and you’ll get a little menu. it seems so insignificant but people have been asking for this feature for YEARS

feeling incredibly lucky we found these two

Tofu, a tuxedo kitten, looking upwards playfully

Tempeh, a bicolor tabby kitten, standing on a desk chair with big curious eyes

Tempeh and Tofu playing together with something out of frame

Tempeh playing, grabbing an elastic string in with her mouth, Tofu chilling out of focus in the background.

introducing Tempeh and Tofu, the two girls we adopted yesterday. they’re about 13 weeks old and as playful as they are cuddly

Two small kittens sleeping adorably on a yellow armchair, a white tabby and a tuxedo.

A closeup of Tempeh, the white tabby, sleeping on a yellow armchair. Her pink toe beans are visible.

Tofu, the tuxedo cat, laying on the headrest of a yellow armchair. Some pink toe beans visible.

Both Tofu en Tempeh standing on a white carpet in front of a light-blue couch.

this transition in iOS 18’s messages app is so delightful. you can’t blur elements like that with just UIKit

i’ve spent the past year-and-a-half on this update, rebuilding it from scratch and adding many new features in the process. it’d be really helpful if you could give the app a try and share it with your friends!

Photo of me holding an iPhone running the OK Video app. I’m smiling towards the camera, but the focus is on the iPhone which also shows me smiling through the app’s camera feed
