During Golden Week, I was actually at an aquarium in Tokyo and they had a Lionfish in it. Pretty cool to see one safely.

So what happens when the lady of a rich Kalosian family with tons of maids decides she wanted to try their outfit because she was curious? For some, it's an interesting choice Amelia was making. Part of an attempt for Maid Day 2026, but it's kinda unfinished without Isabelle.

Finally, we have Lake Tazawa, Japan's deepest lake. I didn't get too many pictures because it was raining a lot when we got up there. The fog was thick at points that we couldn't see the other side of the lake. Looked more like the ocean in the mountains.

The statue depicting the beautiful Tatsuko, the woman who became a dragon and became the guardian of the lake. (That's why apparently the lake doesn't freeze over.)

Pikachu was certainly enjoying the festival. ^^

I'll be honest, I contemplated whether or not to put Pikachu on the tree to take a picture, but I worried that would be seen as rude and inappropriate, so I decided not to. Don't want to make American's look worse anymore (after you-know-who really ruined our rep.)

The bag featured the current Pokemon Protagonists from Horizons. It's what I got my French Fries in. Crisp and delicious. ^^

Some of the food I enjoyed at the festival included soft serve ice cream, some fries, and ju-yen-pan. But there were a lot of other stuff, including grilled fish, grilled squid, takoyaki, beef skewers, too many to name in one post. A great Japanese street festival food.

This small shop had Vanilla milk and Matcha flavored ice cream served in a chocolate (I believe it was chocolate) sugar cone/waffle cone. Very creamy and rich. ^^

Ju en pan, or 10 yen bread, is what it looks like, a grilled bread shaped like a 10 yen piece. It's more like a pancake, and it was filled with a little cheese in it. Apparently it's famous (yet I haven't heard of it before. ^^' )

April 18th trip in Japan, lots of pics to share: In the morning of April 18th in Japan, a trip was set for the town of Kakunodate in Akita, East of the Hinokinai River, where a Cherry Blossom festival was taking place. The place was so beautiful!

A row of trees on top of this path next to the east bank of the river had so many trees with cherry blossoms everywhere.

The Hinokinai river was moving fast, likely due to the weather. It was cloudy with hits of rain here and there.

Decided it was time to give it a shot. After purchasing a Rice bowl and Noodles bowl, I whipped up some homemade Ramen, using a broth packet, some fresh noodles I boiled, and pan fried a few sausages. Salt Broth with fresh Ramen noodles and Chicken and Pork Sausages.

Got into my dorm yesterday and got all set up(ish). Apparently I had another friend join me. Vulpix must have snuck in when I didn't noticed. lol. But all three of them are currently relaxing on my windowsill and keeping an eye on the room while I go out.
