#krbk #kiribaku My fic for the @pillowfortzine.bsky.social Coffee shop au, workplace au, flirting, falling in love, and first kisses Seriously love this one! Check it out: archiveofourown.org/works/72860596

“Dude! You should totally come! It would be like a million times more fun if you’re there!” Suddenly Bakugou is faced with, somehow, an even brighter smile with eyes that are practically bursting with stars. And fuck, does it make him weak in the knees. “Please, Bakugou! I promise you’ll have a blast!”

Just the way this pretty guy is staring at him, looking up at him like Bakugou’s someone to be adored and praised and treasured. Like he’s the key to some unsolved puzzle or locked box.

How could he not say yes?

“F-fine,” Bakugou grumbles, face turned down towards his chest, crossing his arms to hide his quickened breaths, “I better not regret it though, Shitty Hair.”

OR

Bakugou hates his job, but the sight of a cute redhead makes it a little bit better.

The ask reads: "sorry if this is a dumb question... but how do i read this.. do i read a zine... is that what a zine is. iikm sorry. im a huge krbker

Eijirou looked at Katsuki and saw a boy, and in turn, Katsuki cut his bleeding heart out with shaky hands and offered it up to him on a golden platter.

(He doesn't know how to love otherwise. Bakugou Katsuki never does anything in halves.)

Love is selfish. Love demands and takes, and love only knows how to want with yawning entirety and nothing less. But love is also Eijirou seeing a boy instead of a spitfire villain. Love is Eijirou stretching his hand out for Katsuki to grasp. Love is Eijirou sharing a bag of snacks with Katsuki, when the moon comes out. Love is Eijirou smiling at him, and telling him he's worth it.

He pauses, takes the moment to lick his lips and let the night air embolden him.

"Eijirou," he continues, wanting to scream at the way Kirishima--Eijirou's eyes widen and his pupils blow wide.

"Eijirou, you know I'm sweet on you," Katsuki says, and they both feel the way his heart speeds up. It still thumps steady, even at the hurried pace. He lets out a breath that's more affection than air at the way Eijirou has just barely pressed his fingertips harder into the cotton of his shirt.

Katsuki leans down, an inch closer and an eternity away. "Are you sweet on me?"

But he doesn't have to say anything, because a hand presses firm to the back of his neck. The touch is warm. Familiar. It pulls away, only to return before Bakugou can protest - an arm wrapping around his back, the other underneath his knees. He is settled against... someone's chest, pulled close, his head lulling until he can hear the steady thump, thump, thump under his ear.

There's only one person that it could be.

🍿 popcorn and pillowforts zine preview 🍿

He raises a brow. “What, you fuckin’ want me that bad? Desperate much?”

Eijirou grins impossibly wider, full of sharp teeth that he’s only dreamt of decimating his neck. “You say that like I’m not on my knees for you every chance I get.”

He ignores the way his pulse does a stuttering two-four staccato because he is absolutely not flustered by his own boyfriend in the slightest. He refuses to be one of those guys who gets weak-kneed after a one-liner, he won’t.

(His heart begs otherwise. His shaky legs do, too. But Katsuki has far too much pride to simply submit.)

“Flattery gets you everywhere,” Katsuki tells him instead, and Eijirou’s smile goes sly.

“Where is that exactly, with you?”

"I didn't think about it when I did it! And-" Kirishima was hastily interrupted by those same firm hands grasping at the back of his head, yanking him. Until he felt the press of soft, plump lips. And oh fuck, Kirishima was frozen. Hands stilled midair as he felt the brush of Bakugou's lips on his once more. The scene so similar to where they had been mere moments ago.

Slowly, the blonde leaned back, still cradling Kirishima's head with one hand and adjusting a strand of his hair with the other. His eyes were like pools of something Kirishima couldn't quite grasp. Desperation, longing, yearning. "I love you," Bakugou whispered. "You know that right?"

Here's a little sneak peak of my piece for it!

To say that Katsuki was surprised when Kirishima invited him to sleep over at his house was a bit of an understatement. He couldn't remember the last time someone had invited him over to their house willingly and he actually wanted to go. Not since he was much younger, for sure.
Now he was standing on the front porch of the Kirishima home feeling…well, he was a little bit embarrassed about how excited he was to spend more time with Kirishima, but that wasn't all that he was feeling. He would deny it with his dying breath, but he was maybe a little bit nervous about spending the night at Kirishima's for the first time.

"You know, I don't think you're really as bad as everyone said you were," Kirishima stated, looking at Katsuki intently.

Katsuki immediately looked away, unsure how to meet his eye and tell him that he usually was that mean around strangers. That the only reason Kirishima thought he was so nice was because of Kirishima himself and that he usually made a horrible impression on people he met for the first time. The only reason he had managed to keep anyone around for long enough to consider them friends was because of their own stubbornness against his rather abrasive personality.

Kirishima was just different, had been from the start, even if Katsuki couldn't quite pinpoint why.
