The other part of this is that it has to be strategic and planned; it absolutely needs to be discussed and thought about as a group. "Social Media Team" cannot mean "three people post whatever they want to the church FB page," but too many small churches treat their social accounts this way.

Thinking about it, one notable exception to this? A multi-congregation set up sharing one or more pastors. (A "parish" in ELCA parlance, or a UM "circuit.") Having both/all sites share in selecting faith formation material would probably be really helpful in that case.
