Shared it on mine but I love it enough to share it here: The fit I ended up going with

I'm making a Pokemon Trainer Glam for FFXIV (For beastmaster! I'll be streaming it today!) But I'm currently tossing it up between some looks. What do y'all think?

Back in the days of the Extended Praetorium, I would be the right amount of "delirious from the dungeon" that I would make banger Gaius jokes Gaius joins a bookclub "SUCH Characterization! This was SUCH The author's intention!" And Gaius grows a garden "SUCH Vegetation! This was JUST my INTENTION!"

Found out it's big booba day-- Rey's aren't /HUGE/ but I feel like it'd still be appreciated!

Thank you @pikku.bsky.social for lending me his character so I could execute this stupid joke. #miqote | #gpose | #ffxivhyur

Female Sun Seeker Miqote: Oh no! This is terrible! Our friend's house has been demolished!

Female Midlander Hyur: Who, Rey?

Thought Bubble With Male Miqote: I'm Rey!

Female Sun Seeker Miqote: This is NOT a cheering matter!

So I do have TWO ocs that are Rider Aligned. Alex, the character from the 9th Shard, and Y'Kola Tia, Engineer reverse-building a Late Allage Suit!

You ever think about your WoL's other Shards? Like, if it isn't Ardbert, who's your WoL's shard on the first? I recently decided to try one for Rey! He was a duelist on the first. He had unfortunately passed in the past, but his chivalrous nature endures even to this day!

I kinda wanna do some FFXIV RP here but I don't know if I wanna do it HERE here or If I wanna set up a specific page for it.

It does add something to help carry the top through! I might experiment with a few other reds to see if I find one I like or if I just do Dalamud Red throughout. Side note, I'm so glad the gambler's set got the second dye channel. Setzer, your clothes needed it.

I was thinking of redoing my Red Mage Glam, since I'm back to Leveling that, but I want some outsider opinions: Gambler slacks or my older standby, the Valentone slacks?

If you see this, Post a Lalafell! Love Tupo, with his government name Tutupoto Fufupoto. A Fellow Engineer-- But instead of working with older Allag Tech, his focus is adapting Imperial Magitek to better suit Humanity. He also has a Magitek armor.

Ended up with some Lore! I might have wholesale lifted some of his background from Mister Hongo Kamen Rider. Check the Alt-Text if you can't read the screenshot!

Picture is a screenshot from Discord: Text below

I've already decided to Wholesale just steal the backstory of mister Kamen Rider himself
This Character (Who I might Name Alex) got into a pretty rough accident in Alexandria, and was offered a choice for an experimental surgery. He said yes, and was unable to use the Regulator system, but was given the ability to summon some Electrope armor.

He's also a Cyborg, with an expiriment to strengthen his soul through a couple scrubbed Soul Cells (so his aether is on-par with someone from the Source's!)
To how he gets to the first, An experiment to try to re-create the goblet artifact fails, and He pushes someone out of the way of the resulting explosion-- Which ends up with him and part of the lab ending up on the first.

I never got to try it multiplayer, I gotta do that sometime!

... Only to realize after using Alexander to it's max to see the timelines from afar, that the source of the problem was unable to be fixed at this point. So, he sits outside of time to meet his sundered future selves, to eventually go back to his sundering.

010

Pikku's FFXIV Collection @pikkuffxiv.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

Alexander was built to go back to other researchers, to ask them questions about their work, though before he could do it in earnest, The Final Days happened. He tried to use the weakening rules of the world to try and groundhog loop his way to a solution...

Pikku's FFXIV Collection @pikkuffxiv.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

Behold! Daedalus, Rey's Unsundered Counterpart! In My ffxiv Canon, Daedalus was responsible for the Creation of Alexander-- or the Concept that would become that! He was against the whole "Dying once your job was done" thing, and thought there was always something new to learn.

111

Pikku's FFXIV Collection @pikkuffxiv.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

I should make Rey's Unsundered Counterpart. And probably write about him too, because he has some fun lore in my personal canon!

How could I not? I'm a Huge Rider Fan!! Thank you for the kind words!!!

110

Pikku's FFXIV Collection @pikkuffxiv.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

Do I have much of anything outside of the design? No. But I'm still really happy with how he turned out so far!

Random #FFXIVOC question, does your WOL have an (unofficial) custom class? (I.e. like how some Trust Allies have custom classes instead of official ones, Like Y'shtola's Sorceress, or Alphinaud's Academician) Rey, In my mind, has the Custom Class Technician, which covers the two mains MCH and GNB

Second, the Woman only known as "Granny Shimizu," Someone who left Sui-no-Sato early in her life. A fiery Soul who could outdrink every pirate, Suplex at least 5 bears, and still have enough energy to slap some sense into you. Her habit of "taking in strays" is what leads to her current nickname.

Got a couple FFXIV OCs from the Ruby Tide Pirates! First! Hiro Shimizu, Orphan adopted by An Auri woman who had been with the pirates (and will be added to the next post!) While not /OFFICIALLY/ a Pirate, Considers himself one!

And Between the Short story written and G'Raha's dialogue, Could you imagine that impossible choice they were facing? A chance at a better world, but one you and everyone you know might never exist in? (spoiler alert things do get better for them and some of the pictures I took were related)
