FINALLY fixed my car speakers! My old one (pictured) got corroded from the sun, made sure to put on grill covers this time! Thing was about as brittle as a potato chip by the time we went to uninstall it for the new ones.

Dollywood was awesome yesterday! Busier than expected as it was Dolly Day *and* there was a 5K going on, but we got plenty of rides in regardless! Lightning Rod opened at 4pm just as I gave up hope it would open. Got 2 back to back rides because of the short line!

Oh my God Arieforce One is NOT going to Kings Island OR Carowinds. I will eat my left shoe if it does. They don't have a good spot for it and it would be better served elsewhere. Hell I don't even think Six Flags bought it, they're not doing great financially to make this move.

And to those curious to see how my ranking stacks up now, here she is! Orion enters my top 5 and Diamondback enters my top 10! Banshee fails to overtake afterburn as my favorite invert and The Beast beats out Mystic Timbers. Going back to Carowinds this month and next I'm hitting Holliday World!

Banshee was way better in my memory. Still properly intense but not nearly as scary. Demonic knot was hype and that last in like twist was trippy. Flight of fear had the best theming in the park, but the worst ride ops by a wide margin. Great launch, jank track, full stop on the Mid Course.

People complaining about Diamond Backs roughness are weird. Amazing sustained airtime, best B&M Hyper I've ridden Orion is so fucking over-hated. Fury 325 is better but fuck this is good. Weird pot holes in the valleys but eh. Love the elements, new #3 of all time. (2/3)

So TLDR of my Kings Island trip report The Beast was way better than I remember. Actual floater on the first camelbacks and that last helix is crazy. Great track work by Gravity Group! Mystic Timbers is overrated. Thunderhead was better. She's a great woodie but still (1/3)
