iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Rage at someone doing awful things generally compels more readers than people doing agreeable things. As long as his antics sell, the media will keep covering him, which gets him name recognition. Any coverage, positive or negative, will get him votes. The entire world knows his name.

Nobody should have ever been surprised that the power seeking obvious liar with the incredibly public fascy past is and remains a shitty person. What I want answered is why all these assholes are so okay with being so incredibly fucking gullible?

050

i just... don't understand the argument that "we should allow for atonement" means "we should give them power over as many people as possible." If they're truly sorry, they can afford to live small. Being an ordinary citizen is *not a punishment*.

I kept saying, even if he *has* changed, even if he's truly deeply grown, he's not owed power because he said he's sorry. If he's serious, he can find ways to help without self-aggrandizement. There has *got* to be a leftist who has a better track record, why was nobody in maine *looking*?

Eeeeep so I made two embarrassing off-by-one errors during my interview yesterday -- Stonewall happened on June 28th, not the 29th... and uh, I was married in 2016, not 2015! Our tenth anniversary is coming up! How could I have gotten that one wrong?! 🤣

Welcome Addie (She/Her): A Seattle tech worker and streaming content performer, as well as lifelong TTRPG player. She is transgender, polyam, pansexual, & child of an Indian immigrant.

The image has a background that is the pride flag that includes trans, intersex, and equal rights colours with the top text over it. There is a banner shaped section of purple with the middle text in it and three icons under it that is a pair of boxing gloves to indicate fight, a sneaker clad foot to indicate flight, and a wrench and screwdriver crossed over each other in an X shape to indicate fix on the right side of the middle. On the left is an image of Addie, and she is facing to the right. Under that is the emoji of Lil Cherny holding a pride flag similar to the background and a cheerful expression to the right side and the bottom text to the right. | Text reads as following: Top: Meet a Panelist! | Middle: Seattle tech worker, streaming content performer, & a lifelong TTRPG player. She is also transgender, polyam, pansexual, & the child of an Indian immigrant. Addie (She/Her) | Bottom: Mountain Shade Village 3rd Annual Pride Panel

Hey friends! This Sunday I'm going to be joining MSV's pride panel to talk about our reactions to hostile times as members of the intersectional queer community. I think it's going to be a really wonderful talk, and I can't wait to see my fellow panelists there!

Thirsty Space *CRITTERS*. Mora's a lizard, but Jack's a cyborg rabbit girl XD

Addie GS @pigsflew.com · 27/12/2025

it makes me feel so special that you remembered that conversation! Yeah, it was a really interesting and wonderful experience!

Addie GS @pigsflew.com · 08/12/2025

Actually that's not why. It's because it might actually literally have bits of husk, dirt, and other contaminants in it.

Every single major belief system's moral code agrees. Why the fuck do we have politicians that don't?

000

If you're Hindu, supporting these programs are Dāna and are dharma. For Buddhists, they fall under the first two perfections. Sikhism explicitly calls for communal food support as Langar. Secular Humanists: people will suffer, so you have a moral obligation to act.

120

If you're Jewish, your responsibility is to do the work of Tikkun Olam; failing to support programs like this is failing that responsibility. If you're Muslim, programs like this support a universal, society-wide *Zakat*, and are in line with the Quran's principals of protection of the vulnerable.

100

Not for nothing, but if you think you're a Christian, Jesus said to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, and welcome the stranger. He didn't put qualifiers on it. If you support a society that doesn't do these things, you're not a Christian, you're following an Antichrist.

100

I've seen people on the internet saying that recipients should just get a side hustle to tide them over. They're already limited to just those people who literally *cannot work any harder than they are*. More work is not going to make up for this assistance.

100

The eligibility requirements are: You are disabled, in school, taking care of a child under 6 or an incapacitated person, or are already working 30 hours per week. If you're 18-54, aren't disabled and have no dependents, you have to be working 80 hours per week to qualify.

100

For the under-informed, you cannot get SNAP assistance unless you are under a specified earning max and if you are between 16 and 65, you have to meet the eligibility requirements.

100

SNAP is one of our most efficient, highly targeted, and economically positive gov programs, and failing to fund it is going to cause a lot of hurt to people, for no other reason than that our entire government is being held hostage by bad faith actors who, quite simply, *want the cruelty*.

If you can afford to, please support your local food assistance programs, because the GOP are fucking assholes and want people to starve. Gonna get preachy for a sec but please bear with me cause it's important.

... the power vested in him as a senator is his vote in the senate. His disruption is him talking and promoting further left goals among the coalition and the bills he's authored over the years. I'm not sure what you want; he's one of a very small number of actually tolerable congresspeople.
