iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I'm kinda afraid I'll be the type of artist that talks about things I don't really know about or 100% believe in and just coats it with pretty, expensive-looking paint to make people love it anyway. I want everything I do to have infinite meaning, vision and love. I will settle for nothing less

I've had the feeling over the last few years that my videos aren't really that "inspired" so while writing my next script I've been watching a movie a day, listening to romance and space themed soundtracks, taking film classes, reading behind-the-scenes articles, anything to not be an "art poser" 😭

Reminder to self: I wanna make a legal drama styled animation video before I quit YouTube

I did something no editor has ever done in the history of Pokémon: make an intro entirely based on the random, REAL tower the Pokémon headquarters is in 😭😭 (I spent literally 2 days looking for footage of anywhere in the tower this better have been worth it) #edit

I think YouTube editors underutilize "setting" so much in their work, so I tried making an intro for my client ENTIRELY set in India 🇮🇳 It's a fun challenge to limit your visuals to a certain place, it really helps you make your future edits feel more cohesive!! #edit

Oh btw this should 100% go without saying but if you personally love the style that's monopolized competitive Pokémon YouTube and wish for it to stay that's totally fine. I don't "hate" the style, I hate the lack of diversity. I like seeing new ideas and I just wanna encourage that!

Full video link: youtu.be/p4a6fuiiClA I'll be posting every Pokémon intro I've made that I'm proud of DAILY until I run out (I have like 5 of them I think) WE (yes we) will finally stop the Wolfey-ication of Poké-Tube. Do I accept editing commissions? Depends how much you agree with me

Over my 3 years of editing I've noticed so many Pokémon videos look THE SAME. I hate it and wish people would try something new instead of ALWAYS copying Wolfey. So I've chosen to do it myself. Here's an edit I made that's like nothing else on Pokémon YouTube #edit

I've been lurking the "other site" a bit and it's really sad how often everyone tries to justify saying crazy hurtful things to people because "they have done worse". I think the only way anyone'll get the growth they want is if they set a kind example not just in their ideas but their actions. Idk

I feel like 99% of online fights would be solved if everyone just remembered two wrongs don't make a right. Is that just me

pigchefer @pigchefer.bsky.social · 02/04/2026

So I might’ve done something a LITTLE crazy this week (link in thread) #justinbieber

Nono you’re not offending me, I’m glad you record your opinions as much as you do :) also your fanart was in my video I hope that pleased you

pigchefer @pigchefer.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

I got put at #355 I’m starting to think my last year’s placement of #10 was a massive fluke in the system

110

pigchefer @pigchefer.bsky.social · 23/10/2025

Also what are the chances that @evansrankingtablet.bsky.social says he'll watch it, put it into his watch later playlist, forgets to watch it for 3 months, then I randomly check his ranking and he puts it at like #400 and I realize this video was actually mid

New video this week hopefully unless I die editing this or something. Hopefully it will be good and at least a 6/10 on the cool scale

*5 times as hard as I am working right now. Not comparing myself to them (just reread my post and saw how it could be misinterpreted)

020

pigchefer @pigchefer.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

My way of getting motivation to work for several months on a single video is I open YouTube, see literally everyone get more views than me, then tell myself I need to work 5 times as hard to get views myself. Works every time
