Sketch vs. Final whenever i work further on a piece, I always feel something from the original is lost along the way. this piece was no different, but i wanted to capture that feeling in the piece itself.

there was something so intimate and personal about the original sketch. i couldn't figure out a way to keep that feeling as i worked on it.

so instead i pushed it further and further away. until the piece reflected how i felt about that original intimacy. something distant
