TPS holders from some designated countries have been in the US 20+ years — they own homes and businesses, have US-citizen kids. The economic disruption goes beyond individuals: construction, food service, and elder care in Texas and Florida alone would lose tens of thousands of workers overnight.

Impact of removal of TPS status this week: Immediate termination from job. Living in fear of ICE snatching you. Loss of the ability to use phone, pay rent, access bank account. This is **cruel** and Congress needs to act to convert all with TPS into citizens IMMEDIATELY.

Ethel ate 19 pills of her "sister's" pain medicine-an NSAID-25x overdose. Impressed by VEG ER...i was brought into the actual ER and stayed with her. Ethel sat next to me on the couch a& felt more secure at my side. What a huge improvement over sitting in waiting separated and wondering. #vetER

We drove PCH today in Malibu. It is an endless line of empty beach front properties. There was a very old couple who pulled their car onto the flat foundation that I assume used to be their home. The set up a table for Easter dinner. Just the two of them. And my heart broke. #lafires
