She did some kind of hypothetical story scenario in class to engage the students and when I got a question wrong she told me that I was going to die tonight. I mentioned it offhandedly when I got home and my grandmother went on a warpath to the school, withdrew me and got her fired apparently 😭

Wild Pidgin lore is that I did high school theater with the daughter of my middle school teacher that I got fired back in 6th grade!!!!

Woah! The crew behind the hit animated short They Got Lost is listening to a snappy and sweet little album of three (four?) songs from its soundtrack! We should check it out!

An illustration of three people with headphones on. A big guy with wicks and a beard sits at a table smiling contently. A smaller person with glasses and a bob stands besides him with their hands on their hips. They give a big grin. To the big guy's other side, a guy with spiky hair in a turtleneck gives an intensely thoughtful expression.

An image of the album's cover: a picture of the Atlanta skyline, with the title They Got Lost (Short Film Soundtrack) is shown in the top left. Red arrows point to the three characters, stating that this is the album they are "Listening to".

I had a whole discussion of her. Even after explaining the nuances between the two forms, when I showed her Disney's Cinderella she went "So thats.. 3d?"

Like are people not versed in animation and digital art genuinely so far removed that it all looks the same??? Or is she a special case... It genuinely blew my mind.

True I also get politely they'd by specifically some friends/acquaintances. Its truly a sliding scale... I usually let it slide from them tbh. Maybe I should say something? Idk, these things are tricky. Similarly to u, I go by "could be worse" mentality haha
