iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

It's such a great name and evolution, I love this pokemon so much lol. And thanks 😁

It's such a shame that Scarlet and Violet are such glitchey games. The hunt is still doable, I've been doing it on and off for a couple of years, trying to get it and then putting it down for months and that's how I'd recommend doing it so you don't go crazy. Best of luck and I hope you get it 😄

Aww, thanks. Me too 😁

I've been hunting for the shiny three segment Dudunsparce in Pokemon Scarlet and I had 13 shiny Dunsparce sitting in a box waiting to evolve. Number 12 turned out to be the three segment and I don't know how to feel lol Haven't been doing the hunt for that long so this is pretty under odds 🥲

Thanks 😁 I've been considering using this character in other art too so they might be around for a bit lol

I've been sitting on some digital art so it's probably about time I post it. I'm experimenting with watercolour brushes in Krita to see what kind of textures I can get. This piece was inspired by the song Get Out Alive by Three Days Grace (my fave band of all time). #digitalpainting #digitalart

Digital art of a young person running towards the viewer, they have exposed ribs with a fire burning beneath the bones. Behind the character is a pale figure grinning while reaching out for the young person.

Here's the watercolour Pokemon art I was working on. I've been having a lot of fun with watercolour paints so there's definitely gonna be more watercolour art from me probably soon lol #watercolor #watercolourpainting #pokemon #pokemonfanart #fanart

Watercolour painting of the Pokemon Jirachi, Pumpkaboo, and a shiny Eevee running through a wooded path while Mew watches from behind a tree.

The Final Fantasy cards are amazing and I did really like the Avatar the Last Airbender ones too. But yeah, there's a lot lol

That is fair. And yeah, it's all stupid expensive but a fun hobby. The MTG crossovers are pretty cool, but a lot of players are getting annoyed with the sheer amount of them and it's essentially just money grabs on Hasboro's part because ✨corporate greed✨ but IDK anything about that lol

Nice, I remember playing Yu-Gi-Oh so wrong growing up lol. Magic's pretty fun mostly. Some games are better than others 🤣

I play eight person games of commander magic and these people are absolutely wild with how competitive they get. Meanwhile I'm playing my D&D deck, vibing and being excited about rolling shiny dice 😂

I'm not sure if I'll be continuing with Smaugust, it usually happens when I do month challenges and that's okay. I am currently working on some watercolour pokemon art and I'm having so much fun working on it 😁

I actually misread the prompt list, Sanctuary is tomorrow and today was supposed to be Topiary. Guess I know what I'm doing for tomorrow lol

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

Day 14: Sanctuary I skipped yesterday but had to do something for today. Some Spirited Away fanart felt fitting for this prompt and of course I had to paint it with watercolours. #smaugust #watercolour #spiriredaway #painting

Watercolour painting of Spirited Away fanart featuring Chihiro standing at the entrance to the station leading to the spirit world while Haku in dragon form watches from above, climbing down the building.

Day 12: Unravel Another super quick sketchbook doodle. This one was kind of intimidating so I kept it small and simple lol #smaugust #smaugust2026 #pencildrawing #sketchbook

Pencil drawing of a dragon that is unraveling at the horns and muzzle

Day 11: Crystallize Just a quick sketch for today's prompt. A dragon head covered in crystals, is it made of crystals or is it being consumed by the crystals? No clue, but it kinda looks cool #smaugust #pencildrawing #sketchbook #dragonart

Pencil drawing of a dragon head that has been overtaken by crystal structures.

Day 10: Plumage For this one I pictured a sort of mix between a raptor and a dragon and raptor wyvern seems to be the result. This was a fun prompt 😁 #smaugust #pencildrawing #dragonart #sketchbook

Pencil drawing of a raptor-like dragon leaping in the air with outstretched wings and claws.

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Day 8 & 9: Music Box and Iridescent I didn't like what I drew for yesterday so I decided to combine it with today's prompt and I'm so happy I did. I love how this turned out! She's so pretty! #smaugust #digitalpainting #dragonart #digitalart

Digital painting of a silver holographic dragon sleeping curled around a music box.

The bar that tells me how much space I have left hasn't been blue in ages... It's running so much smoother lol

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Hey look! I found some space on my laptop. I honestly had no idea these were here... No wonder the poor thing's been running so slow 😅

It would be so worth the ridiculous prices just to see him happy. I would def get 2 more jobs to support this 🤣

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Day 7: Colossus So for this one I had the idea of a baby dragon pretending he's a huge dragon stomping through a village. He's having so much fun. #smaugust #pencildrawing #sketchbook #dragonart

Pencil drawing of a baby dragon smashing his way through a miniature town.

Fire may be the answer here lol

Day 6: Symbiosis One of these was gonna end up being horror themed. Today's prompt made me think of The Last of Us so here's a clicker dragon... Don't think I want to meet this one. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #watercolour #horror #dragon

Watercolour painting of a dark green and blue dragon overtaken by a cordyceps fungus similar to a clicker from The Last of Us.

I might be a bit late with today's Smaugust, I might end up posting it tomorrow. I wanted to do this one in watercolour and it's looking cool so far but it's taking a while to work up the details. It's gonna be so worth it though 😁

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

I feel like some chosen one somewhere is gonna find this and wake the dragon... Maybe Goku lol And thanks!

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Day 5: Dormant Sorry for the not great photo. This one's not my best but that's okay. I tried something different by adding coloured pencils and it was definitely an interesting effect. When I read today's prompt I thought about the mosquito in amber from Jurassic Park so here we are lol #smaugust

A pencil and coloured pencil drawing of a dragon curled up and sleeping in amber.

Day 4: Gossamer It might be a bit of a stretch for today's prompt but gossamer did make me think of dragonfly wings so that's what I drew. Her name is Flit and flying is her favourite pastime. #smaugust #smaugust2026 #pencildrawing #sketchbook #dragondrawing

Pencil drawing of a small scaled dragon with dragonfly wings.

Day 3 of #smaugust! And I'm still following the same prompt list. Today's is Wayfinder so here's another tiny dragon. Her name is North and she has a fantastic sense of direction. #smaugust2026 #pencildrawing #sketchbook

A pencil drawing of a small spikey dragon draped over a sextant (navigation equipment)

Might be a bit late posting today's Smaugust drawing. Bluesky doesn't seem to want to upload my photos lol

He is so proud of his books 😁 He's also my fave so far lol

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 02/08/2026

It's officially #smaugust! And I came across @katylipscomb.bsky.social 's prompt list and just had to attempt the challenge. Day 1 was Tome so meet Brom the book dragon Day 2 is lichen so there's also Lysander - he was a bit tedious lol I already have ideas for the next prompts so there will be more

A pencil drawing of a tiny winged dragon proudly sitting atop his stack of books. His name is Brom.

A pencil drawing of a wooden dragon covered in lichen laying on his side. His name is Lysander.

This also means there will be actual art posted very soon. It's gonna be a bit on the next videos though.

Pic*z @picz.bsky.social · 22/06/2026

I've been avoiding most socials for a while now and I haven't had any art to post anyway. It's been a year, and it's been really hard to do anything creative outside of some sketchbook stuff. But I'm working on digital art and my comic again and finding ways to make the creative journey work for me.

That's fair. It's really good, especially campaign 2 which is the Mighty Nein. It is a lot to watch though, I'm only on episode 30 I think and I've been listening to it for a couple months now lol

Aww, thanks 😁 It's fanart for Critical Role the big Dungeons and Dragons YouTube lol

Also, almost everyone is in profile which is one of my weaker areas. It's super important to draw things you don't normally or like drawing because it helps build your visual library. It is a pain in the butt though 🤷

I'm planning out artwork for another video and it's Mighty Nein fanart which I'm super excited about but I'm also including eight of the characters and making it super intimidating for myself. It's super exciting, but holy heck why do I need to make it so challenging 😅

Soo adorable! And the details are incredible!

Alright so it seems I've gotten to the point in Critical Role's campaign 2 where I am sobbing after each episode... Mostly since Found and Lost which makes sense lol. Seriously, Critical Role is my favourite thing in existence and the fact that I was so late getting into it is a tragedy.

Nice, that's pretty cool. I also hope they all go well 😁

Working on video stuff today and it feels great. I'm eventually coming back to YouTube but I think my best course of action is to take my time a bit and get myself to a place where I can actually upload consistently. I put planning into my webcomic, it only makes sense to do the same for videos lol
