A signed jersey can carry far more meaning than the name and number printed across the back. For this University of Texas Vince Young jersey project, Picture Worth Custom Framing combined custom sports memorabilia framing with several of our in-house capabilities: conservation-minded jersey mounting, museum glass and custom laser engraving. The goal wasn't simply to frame a jersey. It was to create a presentation where every detail felt intentional. A Jersey Should Look Like a Jersey One of the most important parts of professional jersey framing happens where most people never see it: …

Some framing projects are decorative. Others are pieces of history. A client recently brought Picture Worth Custom Framing an oversized, vintage 48-star American flag that needed a presentation worthy of what it represents. This wasn't a project where simply finding a large enough frame would do. The flag's age, size and character required a custom solution designed around the textile itself. And when the project was finished, the client's reaction said it best: “Couldn’t be more pleased with the 2 framing jobs they do one was a very difficult Large 48 Star flag.

Some photographs deserve more than a standard-size print. For this project, Picture Worth Custom Framing transformed a dramatic architectural image into a 30" × 60" statement piece—combining our in-house wide-format printing capabilities with oversized custom framing and museum glass. The result demonstrates something many clients don't realize: PWCF can help take a project from digital image to finished wall art under one roof. First, We Printed It BIG Large-format printing exposes weaknesses that smaller prints can sometimes hide. Resolution, detail, contrast and tonal range become much more noticeable as an image grows.

Some framing projects are designed to display something beautiful. Others are created to make sure someone is remembered. Picture Worth Custom Framing recently completed this deeply personal memorial for a fallen police officer and motorcycle rider. Rather than using a conventional mat and simply placing memorabilia around it, PWCF created a custom, multi-layered presentation built specifically around his story. Look Closely—That Isn't an Ordinary Mat The background surrounding the centerpiece is a PWCF-exclusive personalized vinyl-wrapped mat. Instead of relying on a traditional solid-color mat, we used the surface itself to help tell the story.

Sometimes the right custom frame shouldn't compete with the artwork. It should make you notice the artwork before you even realize why the entire presentation works so well. That was the goal with this original piece recently framed by Picture Worth Custom Framing. Why We Used an Outer Frame AND an Inner Fillet Look closely at the finished piece. Rather than surrounding the artwork with one visually heavy frame, PWCF paired a warm wood-toned outer frame with a darker inner fillet. The contrast helps transition the eye from the frame toward the lighter artwork while picking up some of the deeper tones within the piece.

Never Forget — September 11, 2001 Today, we remember a morning that forever changed our nation. On September 11, 2001, thousands of people began an ordinary day that became one of the darkest in American history. We remember the lives lost in New York City, at the Pentagon, and aboard United Airlines Flight 93. We remember the families whose lives changed forever. We also remember the extraordinary courage that emerged from unimaginable tragedy. Firefighters ran toward danger. Police officers and first responders answered the call. Military personnel stood ready to defend our country.
