Found the best rocks on the beach today 🪨💙🤍 These are actually beautiful examples of the famous Seapoint contact: granite intruding into shale producing spotted hornfels 😍👌🏽

Super proud of my now former student Dr Rivoningo Khosa who graduated with her #PhD yesterday ❤️🙌🏽🥳 My first UCT PhD graduate 💫 So a big moment for us both 😊

#sadchairsofacademia This is a beauty

A wooden chair with only two legs sits looking lonely on a concrete step outside a University building

Lovely day out in the field with my first year #geology students.

Two generations of granite offset by a small fault, my hiking booted foot for scale

A small group of students looking at a lot of granite along the coast

A white beach with the sea and granite boulders and my bare feet

Hi @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app There are at least 2 imposter accounts pretending to be me. Almost 50 real people have reached out and alerted me + blocked and reported since Sunday. It’s now Wednesday and these accounts are still active 🥴 What’s going on?!

The top one is me. The other two are imposter accounts. Please unfollow them, block and report. They have been messaging people with a crypto scam. Ugh! 😣 I am sorry if you have received a weird message from someone you thought was me 🫠 I’d only message you about geochemistry 😂

Hi everyone 😀 My account has been cloned (not hacked) & there are 2 or 3 imposter accounts, with my profile pic, bio etc, just slight misspellings of my name: robynn and pickerling Please unfollow, block & report them! I’m definitely NOT switching from geochem to crypto in 2025! 😆

So I’ve been hacked 🫠😣 Three accounts impersonating me. Please block and report. Interestingly I spent this morning blocking not followers… Ugh 😤

First year #geology field trip - teaching basic rock identification and field skills. Beautiful spring weather and west coast wild flowers 💙 It’s fun and rewarding to see students putting their geological theory into practice!
