And with the PS5 Bluray discs holding 100GB, they could easily have made the physical release 2 install discs and a play disc just to avoid any compression. No visual fidelity downgrade, no game quality downgrade. In other words, they lied and the fake physical release is just about money.

They would seem like legit concerns if it weren't for Kojima's games always being winners. Sony's expectations for Death Stranding 1 and 2 were likely stupidly astronomical instead of realistic. They made hundreds of millions, but they didn't make *enough* hundreds of millions to be happy about it.

I had a co-worker say much the same about food in Germany that he ate when he went to visit his son where he's stationed. Said he could eat portions larger than he would here in the States, but he'd not feel bloated or gross at all afterward. There's just something about our food here that sucks.

The still renders are mostly fine, it's when they're in motion that it becomes really jarring to me. It's obvious they facerig'd them (especially since they showed off said facerig function for player cameras) instead of animating them to be smooth. I 100% dislike them changing their legs, though.

It's far more than the lighting. Fox and Falco in particular still look pretty dang bad in this. They tried far too hard going in the direction of visual realism. Fox still looks bizarre, and Falco now looks like a chicken in their attempt to make him look more like the pheasant he's colored like.

I still don't understand how they managed to make Wolf look fine but Fox looks like Bad Taxidermy Fox. I seriously cannot believe they went with uncanny-valley ass facerig animation instead of hand animating them in-game. For the face-cam thing, I can understand it. But why in-game?

They already had a limit of two per account. The problem is that they didn't put in an account age limit to purchase a controller that is only useful on Steam. Only people with real accounts have use for it, so only accounts that have existed long enough to be real people should have had access.
