Maika.app is my newest app, it allows parents to create new books for their kids by scanning existing books or drawings of their kids. It uses AI to then generate new stories, translate them or create new drawings. I haven't properly launched this one.

In both cases the user can still continue with the not now. I hope this increases the amount of ratings. The app has an average of 4.5 but over ~50 ratings. I believe this is not enough to rank higher for certain keywords

The concept is easy. Show a personal warm message and emulate the in-app review dialogue. If the user taps 3 stars or more the real review dialogue will be shown. The likelihood they will rate again is high. If they tap 1-2 stars the app opens the feedback form instead.

I didn't know what to do, tbh. So I decided to not do anything and pray to the SEO gods 😅 After a few weeks, the prayers became reality, and my traffic recovered to the expected levels. Not only that, the traffic for the names part on the new domain is booming!

I've been using Firestore for most of my project, but my client requires an offline database. It's been a while since I worked with SQL, but the Drift package for Flutter is excellent. I used to use Room for Android, and it was an improvement, but honestly, nowhere near Drift!
