After seeing genAI game trailers appear even before Gamescom, I reached out to a few trailer editors to see how they feel about its use. Derek Lieu gave me this winner of a quote, among many others in the article.

A quote from the article, said by Derek Lieu. "Even without considering the negative ethical, ecological, or legal implications of using genAI (of which there are MANY), I think it's utterly ridiculous to even consider using it in creative works because even a little bit will make people question everything else in the game or trailer. Looking through old art I did as a kid and I've realized... 1. Too much influence from video games. Found occasional quotes/themes from gaming and a LOT of drawings of guns/weapons, like too many. 2. Anime ruined me for a short period of time, and it was very, painfully cringe. It haunts me.
