tell me where you buy your anime figures so I can make note (especially if you’re from Canada)

After not getting what I wanted for the Inuyasha gacha box, of course I had to go find an open box 🤣 my Sesshomaru figure finally arrived today! ✨🤍💜

It’s so hard finding actual artists on Etsy now. I’m trying to find art prints for the dining room, but everything is either a*i crap or ppl selling it as if it’s their own when you can tell it’s not. I really have to investigate, reverse engine search etc just to find the artist

Also from the BC trip, I had to impulse buy some gacha boxes. I got what I wanted for Gintama (Gintoki 🤍), but was unlucky for Inuyasha (wanted Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, or Kagome. Did not want Kikyo 😭). Bonus: my bf’s sister gave me the Minato one since it’s a duplicate for her. ✨

There was also a One Piece x Miniso Pop-up at Metropolis at Metrotown while we were visiting friends in BC! Glad we got to check out this exclusive collaboration during our BC trip since it’s only for the month of August! Here’s my haul ✨ can you tell who my fav is? 🤣🤭🤍💚

Back home from our BC trip! Mainly for my bf’s friend’s wedding, + his other friends had their baby’s bday party the same weekend at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, so got to tour it & check out the Japanese bookshop, so bought a few Japanese manga as souvenirs. ✨

I bought what thought was one cheap paper/card version of the Hunter x Hunter license and got clear badge holders so I can hide my transit card in it when I tap on and off, but it ended up being a 6-pack of PVC cards (3 variations of the hxh license)!! Definitely better! ✨

how introverted are you? I went to throw our garbage in the bin in our detached garage & though my new neighbour came out & was calling out hello (my bf met them already, I haven’t yet), I quickly rushed back in the house while keeping my head down pretending I didn’t hear 🫣

Got the Hyte 70 case & fans a few months ago, already looks like new hehe. all that’s left to switch is getting a new motherboard, CPU cooler, ram, & power supply. bf will give me his GPU & CPU from his ‘new’ PC since he got another one lol. Close to being done to my aesthetic! 💜

When ppl ask me what I want as a reward or gift for something, I will automatically say “gift card for books”. Or like, pls just buy my manga haul, it’s been sitting in my cart or ‘saved for later’ 🥹

I realized my version of adulting is living out my childhood dreams of experiencing all of my expensive hobbies that make me happy bc I can now afford to, even if to others it appears childish and not the typical norm of ‘adulthood’. truly healing my inner child ✨🤍

my cousin, after seeing my manga collection for the first time & sharing a pic of it to her guy friend (especially the Vagabond series he wanted), told me he said “tell the guy I’m jealous he has a sick collection.” She told me she responded, “SHE said thanks.” & he was shooked

you ever put one of your fav or comfort anime, that you’ve watched many times, on in the background while you read manga, only to end up getting distracted and rewatching

took 7+ hrs to build, but worth it, can’t stop being mesmerized, it’s a fav. Anything Ghibli or things that resemble or have that inspiration from Ghibli is my weakness 🥹✨🤍

Finished the Onsen Saga 3D Storage Puzzle yesterday! So happy I got it, can tell it’s heavily inspired by Ghibli’s Spirited Away (of course that’s my favourite, everything Ghibli tbh). Building it allowed me to see the intricacies & beauty of it, I love it so much! ✨🤍
