I should be surprised but I'm kinda not, it feels like the entire life of the iPhone apple has been trying to cut the cord more and more. Did you know you used to be able to download apps and arrange the hoe screen on your computer through itunes?

Apparently at no point ever in the iPhone's life has apple ever invested into data transfer technology in the port, which is why just pulling mass amounts of pictures off of it directly doesn't work.

It's gonna be all those little things that get me, huh. Like, I already tried to schedule my car appointments such that I can do them myself but now I really can't just do them whenever and have mom take my car for me since it's near where she works.

Also minor concern, but my passport is not with hers where it generally is, so that’s lost and only mom might have known where it is. I suppose it’ll turn up somewhere though, so I won’t sweat it for now.

Oh it didn’t get them all it really doesn’t like trying to get them all. Looking it up tbis seems to just be a notoriously difficult process with apple products. And now they want me to make a college for the funeral by Sunday

Starting the long process of moving all the pictures off of mom's phone. I wonder if there's an easy tool to just pull stuff out of all these folders and put all the pictures together in one folder.

It’s kinda funny we don’t actually know when she’ll go but we’re all by her side watching and lowkey urging her to do it right away. In a “time to rest” sense but it also feels like we’re all impatient 😂

Oh okay, they gave her the super strong stuff but it relies on metabolizing through the liver to work which doesn’t really work on someone with liver failure. They changed to something else and she’s proper asleep now.

Somehow I always seem to have the wrong idea about what’s going on with mom. I guess sedation in this sense is less medical coma and more just heavily drugged. I guess I kinda still said goodnight to her at her most lucid but she is still in and out of some level of consciousness.
