What if you could do a bunch of lab tests at home anytime with no needles? Ask me about it! I listen to boring, droning, music, and bike a lot to stay happy. I comment on politics and culture to ruin all that.

Maybe the whole clock thing is weird. Just get up earlier or later. Adjust school times for winter so kids aren't going to school in the dark. Your dog gets it.

Donald Trump brazenly tries to buy votes with false, illegal promises of $5000 in government handouts if republicans win congress in 2026. A vote for republicans, who do not push back on this criminal, unconstitutional bribe, any of them, is a vote for corruption.

Also, drivers, relax. Don't drive like that. You won't get there any faster, and it doesn't make you more of a person because you pressed a lever and accelerated really quickly. If you think driving is entertaining, go to a track.

Trump could nominate the worst person with a law degree in America and this Republican senate will confirm that person. That includes Susan Collins, who always confirms Trump’s justices. The only chance you have to keep that person off the court is to elect Democratic senators.

It takes an evil village. If you got into power with charisma and affection for more power, fork-tongue lackeys will come to you with ideas how to preserve and increase this power in trade for some scraps of their own.

What does it mean about your character, Mr. Vance, when really terrible people like you a lot? You and Trump are awfully popular with Nazis after all.

Regardless of what you think about capital punishment you have to acknowledge who's in charge of them. The prison system doesn't exactly attract the best, most highly paid professionals. When we consider what should happen to convicted criminals, it's naive not to keep this in mind.

Is this an article or a press release? I read it, and it describes what OpenAI *says* the agent will do, as opposed to trying it out and letting us know if it's worth bothering. It's tough out there, but consider journalism and providing value and maybe you'll attract more readers and advertisers?

Is Trump going to build national Trump Refineries? Trump Coal Mines? Trump Oil Rigs. Is Trump going to take over oil companies to get them on track of an energy independent U.S.

This is good but still presents an implementation challenge because Throw polling at 60% is misleading when Take polls at 5%.

Up until a few years ago, I would have thought that letting people share this sort of thing in public would be a well-deserved political/social death. I am not at all happy to have been wrong about that.

Sure, fair enough. Again, my inability to communicate isn't on you, but I mentioned this, because you chimed in about diesel pricing nuances and it could seem to me that you didn't even take the time to understand what I was posting about in the first place. But again, could have been my bad.

Here's hoping Mr. Wright. But tell me, 1. you and the administration have promised this multiple times; what makes today different? 2. what has the administration done to lower these prices? Is it just luck, or was there a policy put in place?

When I was growing up we were admonished to finish food on our plates because people are starving in Africa. Now we have businesses designing, manufacturing, and distributing remote page turners for digital readers (and people still starving).

The death penalty is a moral abomination. State-sanctioned barbarism pushed by incompetent morons and sanctioned by the Supreme Court. Absolute ghoul shit. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
The lone woman on Tennessee's death row was still alive after she was administered two lethal injections, her lawyer said in a motion seeking to halt her execution Wednesday night, a stunning development after the Supreme Court had stepped in to allow the state to put her to death.
At 8:26 p.m. local time, witnesses said
"executioners had injected both syringes of lethal injection chemicals and Pike is still alive and snoring," her lawyers said in a federal court filing.
They said Pike "has not lost consciousness and still has a heartbeat," and that curtains to the death chamber "have gone down twice."

And no, my inability to communicate my intention sufficiently in a short post isn’t a you-problem, but since we’re discussing critical thinking it could be an interesting point.

R. J. Zimmerman @photonicsmarketing.com · 01/10/2026
While we’re thinking about that, consider my remark again and see if you think it’s about diesel prices or the abuse of emergency powers by Abbot (and the federal administration).

Looking at our initial engagement here, I’d say you were letting me know about the nuances of diesel supply in response to a snarky remark. Was my remark what made you believe I was not thinking critically?

So, what would you prefer to happen? When the Trump admin is threatening dumb, dangerous, or criminal things which, just the same, aren’t always so black and white as the blue hair screaming advocates might believe? How should people react in your view?

And frankly, while I firmly agree with your comment that the world is 100k more complex than Trump being POTUS, that, too, is pedantic. Of course it’s true, does that mean we shouldn’t bother to point out his failure? I doubt shutting down this resistance, right?
100
R. J. Zimmerman @photonicsmarketing.com · 01/10/2026
FWIW, your point stood before, I just felt (and note this is hardly a big complaint!) that it was merely pedantic. Not wrong, just a not terribly significant detail.

It's not only Trump who blames Biden and Obama. MAGA?GOP is unable to govern, or take accountability for anything. Two years after being elected to a complete majority and they have failed at nearly every policy promise (except maybe deportations). Don't just be mad at Trump; vote them all out.

Not that I disagree with you, (and I'm just being pedantic here, sorry) but diesel is a commodity, so if it goes up on world markets, than local refiners sell it to others (or here!) and make more money while Americans pay higher prices.

R. J. Zimmerman @photonicsmarketing.com · 30/09/2026
Um, sure, let's pretend that's accurate. I'm old enough to remember when Trump promised voters he'd end the Russian invasion on day 1. How's that going?
000
R. J. Zimmerman @photonicsmarketing.com · 30/09/2026
This will be a compelling argument, but just one question: given that everyone with a chance to win is going to be one of the two powerful parties, isn't the alternative "vote for the folks that failed you for the last two years?"
