This bunch is part of the Alliance of Superheroes from some of the stories I've been writing.

Anomaly and Guardstar round out the six heroes that make up the Aegis, the "planet-level threat" super-team in my stories. The others are Photonex, Prisma, Paladin, and Paragon. I just realized I could name these two with "P" names and call the whole group "the P-Team."

Two more of my heroes: Paladin and Paragon. Their color schemes match because they work together, being from the same planet and all, but I went with different designs to show their individual personas. If Photonex and Prisma are designed kind of like the Silver Age versions of Superman and Supergirl, Paladin and Paragon are more like Superman and Supergirl around Adventure Comics 398-416, which featured reader-designed Supergirl costumes (here's an article about that).

As always, we’re taking one small step from “what is,” but which “what could be” did we end up in this time? Is that...a camera? For the heck of it, here's a shot of my desk, with a key. The last show I was in when I lived in Indianapolis was The Vast Difference, a comedy by Jeff Daniels. The Groucho glasses are a souvenir from the time PJ and I saw An Evening with Groucho (starring the great Frank Ferrante). PJ and I saw The Cher Show in its pre-Broadway tryout in Chicago. A cool print I picked up at the only time Comic-Con Revolution came to the Chicagoland area (and then came COVID, sadly).

NOTES: I changed the female character from Illuminesse to Knight Light, who has a different set of powers but can still glow, so the action didn't change much. Since I'm thinking of tying this into one of the novels I'm working on, I wanted to remove Iluminesse, because her story arc in the novel is different. Allison sighed as the door clicked shut, hanging up her keys on the hook next to the door and turning the deadbolt. It had been one of those days, when "one of those days" meant exercising a supreme level of self-control to keep from demonstrating the meaning of the word "defenestration" on her boss, who had been particularly, stubbornly, micromanaging most of the day, peppering her with some of the inanest questions she'd heard since she'd started on the project.
