Still scanning film and processing the scans, but here's one I really love... Lower Garden District, New Orleans, USA #Nikon FG, Nikkor 35mm f/2 AF-D , #Kodak Ektacolor Pro 800 #photography #analog #film #35mm

A red/orange metal door set in a brown brick wall covered in ivy.

Finally got set up hosting @immichapp.bsky.social after a while of floating in the grey space between smugmug and gdrive. I really love this software, but I wish it had batch/multi-album sharing. It is tedious to share the albums I have with a new user if they need access to more than a handful.

In retrospect, I really appreciate how much of a masterpiece "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" was. Intentional, beautiful visuals, banger soundtrack, and some of the best attention to detail and respect for photography and cinematography I've ever seen, all packed into an otherwise unassuming film.

Sunday, funday. #analog #photography #35mm #film

Several rolls of film hanging in a kitchen converted to a makeshift developing lab. To the right, in the sink, is a wash tub with several bottles of photo chemicals, distilled water, and a sous vide machine. On the countertops are various film developing implements, including a patterson tank. There is also Chinese food.

DSLR film scanning setup, dutifully operated by my cat in a chair.

I've seen more than a few people thirsting for the Helios 44-2 and 44-m, and I wanted to get my hands on one, but I shoot primarily Nikon DSLR. Did some digging and was surprised to find Helios made a lens in f mount called the 81H in 2/50mm, and it has similar swirly bokeh.

At last getting back to some of my hobbies now that I have time and energy. I've set up a secondary account @photography.jodoin.io, where I'll be uploading new and migrating old photography content.
