Yeah, as someone who loved Overwatch from a purely mechanic and aesthetic perspective, but had to get away from the playerbase, another hero shooter with high quality and a fun cast popping up immediately caught my attention. But I bounced off the MOBA stuff hard. Hero shooters may never satisfy me.

Reminds me of when Maynard James Keenan was asked, after doing drag on stage following the Florida ban on drag shows, whether it was a political statement and said "I'm not a political fella", when his band put out an album consisting almost entirely of war protest song covers during the Iraq war.

This sounds like multiple levels of terrible. Fruit candies are not compatible with other desserts, which is why a bowl of M&Ms and Skittles is a prank in itself. Not to mention how much more dense and chewy Skittles are than blondies. It sounds like a sensory nightmare.

Never heard this before, but if there's any band you wanna get to capture the vibe of a '50s cartoon parody of a '30s sci-fi serial for a '00s kids series, it's The Flaming Lips. Sounds as grand and loopy as it needs to.

Strip Mall was an absolutely bizarre series. This weird, trashy soap opera parody that also kind of pokes fun at idyllic Americana tropes in a John Waters sort of way. Not very good, but teenage me found Chris Wylde funny and the two main actresses attractive, so I watched more than anyone should

There were multiple episodes where they broke away from each other and it always ended poorly for them. Buttercup was too bloodthirsty and feral while Bubbles was a baby (complimentary) who, at best, emulated Buttercup. Blossom was self-righteous, but had sense enough to know she can't fight alone.

I remember thinking there was something wrong with me because everyone praised Cabin Fever to the moon, and I thought it was just gleefully mean-spirited garbage without any point other than to be exactly that. Then he made the Hostel movies and I no longer cared if I was wrong.

Kablam felt like Nickelodeon's response to Cartoon Network inviting a bunch of cartoonists to pitch a bunch of shows and air them in limited quantities to see what stuck. Just experimental and weird as hell in the best possible way. Probably the most underrated Nicktoon.

I thought the cheap sci-fi setting was actually pretty great, especially with how many cheap sci-fi settings we got in the '90s leading up to this. We also had Leprechaun and Hellraiser going to space, and those also looked like absolute shit. Cheap space was the place to be.

That game was marketed so hard on its gimmicky (albeit fun) sanity effects that no one knows that the combat and story are some of the best in a survival horror game, and it infuriates me everyday.
