Zeeduivel grinned. Her pointy teeth made her seem kinda scary, but also kinda funny at the same time. “Hehe, that’s the spirit! Now come on, my apartment’s this way.”

The coat was jade green with a hint of gold…Medusa’s favorite colors back then. Zeeduivel smiled. “It’s an old coat of mine, but it fits on you well…like it?”Medusa smiled, a shimmer in her eyes as she put on the coat. “Very much…”

Medusa finally smiled for the first time that night…her, being called nice…it was the best thing she heard. “Hehe, okay, I’ll go with you..just promise not to hurt me..” Zeeduivel smiled and put her spare coat around her. “I won’t, promise! Oh, wait, you look cold..here’s a coat.”

“Really? You’re gonna take me in? But…I’m not one to live with…and my snakes are quite protective of me…” Zeeduivel chuckled. “Heh, I find your snakes quite adorable…and besides, I want to take you in because you’re nice!”

Zeeduivel continued. “…The name’s Zeeduivel. From what I heard, you’re Medusa, eh? You are one cool gal.” Medusa blushed. She was only called scary and creepy back then…. “Cool? Hehe, I dunno about that…” “Hey, tell you what, I’ll keep you at my place. They won’t find you there.” Zeeduivel said.

“No..don’t turn me in to the scientists…” “What? No, no, I’m not…wait, are they after you?” “Yeah….I can’t turn others to stone, see? Now they’re after me because I’m a failed experiment..” Zeeduivel immediately put an arm around her. “You poor thing…don’t worry, I’ll keep ya safe…

…she saw her. Medusa. She was crying, curled up into a little sorrowful ball. Her snakes, hissing at Zeeduivel, were particularly defensive of their owner. Zeeduivel immediately came to Medusa’s side. “Hey, hey, shh, what’s going on? You okay?” Medusa looked up, staring at her.

~~~~~~~ Zeeduivel carried her electric guitar case on her back as she walked out of the bar. “Heh, another successful night. Playing my guitar, sharing my voice…what else could be perfect?” She walked to the alleyway to practice her guitar, but just as she took her case off her back…
..why did they want to kill her? Reviving her was an astonishing act, but being called a failed experiment all because she couldn’t turn others to stone like she did long ago….she felt like she came all this way for nothing.
“No…get away from me….no, no! I won’t let this happen again!” She cried out. Just as about the scientists brushed the surgical knife against her skin, she jumped out of the chair and made a run for it outside the building. She was free…but where to next? She wandered to a nearby alleyway and cried..
“A failed experiment…decapitate her, men.” the other scientists got out their knives. But Medusa wanted a second chance to live. Ever since she was beheaded back in Ancient Greece, she wanted to redeem herself….but how? She was a monster…and people already wanted to kill her.
Ok so I have lore for my sea serpent ship (zeeduivel x medusa) here ya go: She awoke and stared at one of them in the eye….her stare didn’t turn them to stone. The one thing the scientists wanted was a Medusa that could turn others to stone. But she couldn’t.
