S-Rank every Armored Core VI mission - chapter two

After doing some commentary recording for the next chapter of my Armored Core video I am feeling _deeply_ why so many video creators just put a visual overlay for corrections for word and phrase errors rather than try to re-record short sections. So fiddly to get a smooth punch-in/punch-out.

I'm getting so close to the end of my all items run in Elden Ring!

Phoebe, Parry Queen @phoebeparryqueen.com · 07/09/2026

The second chapter of my Armored Core VI S-rank video just needs my commentary. Life has been interfering with my ability to put aside the time needed, but I hope this will resolve soon. Chapter 3 (of the game) will definitely be split into two separate videos. This is not an abandoned project!

At this difficulty I'm starting to favour the Winchester rifle over the Springfield. The Winchester is a lever action and it reloads slightly faster. Without aim-assist, being able to put down a follow-up shot quickly while correcting your aim based on where your first shot landed, is a huge bonus.

Off stream, I've returned to Sniper Elite 4, I game I started playing in back in 2017. I'm slowly working towards all achievements and I've particularly enjoyed Authentic difficulty. The satisfaction of a long shot without the aim-assist is particularly gratifying.

We're starting to get close now, just a few more quest talismans and items to pick up and then the final farming. We're on NG+3 now, 160 hours in and I'm still surprised at some of the little things we're seeing for the first time, for example rare dialogue on NPC quest lines I don't often pursue.

This week I've been continuing to stream my "collect everything" run in Elden Ring. The recently released Tarnished Pack has added some new items, Leontiel's Greatsword has been particularly entertaining.

Phoebe's Week in Gaming (2026-09-07) So, I'm starting a new text-based update series on what I'm up to in games. I'll include what I'm playing on stream, what I'm playing off stream, what I'm looking forward to and other thoughts.

Phoebe, Parry Queen @phoebeparryqueen.com · 03/09/2026

I was disappointed not to be able to stream for so long on my affiliate anniversary due to illness, but I am back again now to carry on trying out tarnished pack items.

Phoebe, Parry Queen @phoebeparryqueen.com · 29/08/2026

Tomorrow I celebrate three years as an affiliate on Twitch. The release of Elden Ring Tarnished Edition has presented a unique opportunity for me to... just carry on my existing "collect all the things" run, but with new content! Thanks, FromSoft! Starting tomorrow 30/8/2026 at 11am (Europe/London)

Update: I summoned Ansbach and Thiollier, parried him with the miséricorde and finally won. [NG+2]

I've got to admit, I still struggle with Promised Consort Radahn (and you can come and see me struggle on twitch).

I enjoyed AC6 so much (on PC) that I bought a collector's edition for PS5. One of only two games I have all achievements on PC and the platinum on PS5.

I still don't have great advice for the end of chapter two boss for a fast kill. The fight is spectacular but there is so much going on that it's very hard to avoid big damage while engaging enough to deal constant ACS buildup and damage.

000

Phoebe, Parry Queen @phoebeparryqueen.com · 28/07/2026

I'm going in with the resources you have when you first encounter the mission, but as you can only be ranked when replaying the mission it was a little too easy for me to spend the gains from the mission being replayed when experimenting with different loadouts.

Phoebe, Parry Queen @phoebeparryqueen.com · 28/07/2026

Working on ch.2 of my AC6 guide, I realised I'd allowed myself too much money for the first mission. I've re-recorded all of the gameplay for the chapter and got the cleanest kill for the first mission boss. Video coming soon...

Phoebe, Parry Queen @phoebeparryqueen.com · 25/07/2026

I'm flattered with the comments I've received for chapter one of my Armored Core VI guide, so I'm definitely going to put chapter two together - it'll be a lot shorter! Anyway, if you're avoiding my video because you haven't played AC6 yet, let this be your nudge to play it! youtu.be/tqOiDbrbTN0

Getting eyeballs on my YouTube channel is a bit of a struggle I've found, and I think I've narrowed the problem down to only extremely cool people have been reposting my YouTube videos. It's just been super cool, attractive, clever people, they're the only ones reposting my stuff. 🤠

After an amazing week of Firekeepers events and a weekend away at DreamHack, I had hoped to be back to stream by now. Unfortunately, I've been fighting some challenges to my mental health. That changes this evening, when I get myself organised and stream tonight, aiming for 8:30pm (Europe/London)!
