Four black and white cartoon skeletons hold hands and dance in front of a background cemetery of grey grasses, stones, and black trees. It's the title illustration of animated short The Skeleton Dance, a 1929 Silly Symphony from Disney animations.

👍Agree, indeed; both good as with compassionate intelligent loving Eddie, and bad like her oblivious neglectful mother. And yet, the story evolves to see her mom change too; that's the genius of a really good author isn't it.📖 #catchatbookclub

🍰Oh thank you for the cakes, almost too pretty to eat, but...*carefully lifts off autumn decorations*😏 This is lovely, Millie😺 #catchatbookclub

🐱Oh good, I hope you'll like it too🐱 And The Dutch House, another good one👍 She also has a moving collection of non-fiction essays that I admire very much. #catchatbookclub

#catchatbookclub Thank you for reminding me re this fun series😺 I read the first few Her Royal Spyness & enjoyed the atmosphere, her sleuthing, her awful family, etc. They kind of fell off my list when the romance came creeping - I just want the mystery-solving, so I'll try this new one, thanks! 📖
