Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 04/09/20266yo suddenly remembered there was a toy (singular) stuck in his T-rex's mouth and asked us to get it out. We were in tears laughing by the time we finished. 040
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 02/09/20262) Do people typically keep their gel manis for longer than 2 weeks? My nails honestly look pretty good but my nails are SUPER long and they're looking grown out at the cuticle. 100
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 09/06/2026First, they invented "Hershey's Kisses and sugar. Then they made their own "cake" using sandwich bread as the cake. I had to melt chocolate candy melts for "frosting," in between the slices and on top. The top slice of bread had sugar on it as well. Then they added Hershey's Kisses. 000
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 27/05/2026I just started reading Wild Faith by @swordsjew.bsky.social, and I spotted this book at CVS just now. I had literally never noticed stuff like this before?? 000
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 24/11/2025On the one hand, I am very, very, very unhappy that my new doctor's office does 2 days of prep instead of 1. On the other hand, in the past two weeks, multiple people have told me they've had to reschedule because of failed prep. So at least this might prevent that from happening. 230
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 16/11/2025I refused to watch or let my kids watch Home Alone 2 on principle, but I guess the kids noticed it on streaming and begged to watch it. Spouse let them know Mom had said no, but 7yo realized that he could message me through GChat while I was at the store. 130
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 01/08/2025Finished product. I forgot how much I HATE frosting cakes?? 010
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 31/07/2025Anyway, here's the print out (reversed because you have to flip it to transfer). Pray for mojo. 210
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 31/07/2025Way back when, for Kid 1's first birthday, I learned how to do frosting transfers and made him a cake that was a play on those Usborne "That's Not My ..." book series. (I didn't realize I didn't have black food coloring until it was too late, forgive me.) 120
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 04/07/2025@rosannapansino.bsky.social My kids are currently interested in playing "chef," demanding to make "real food recipes," so we found a Nerdy Nummies recipe we could make on short notice/no time to go to Michael's. (Pink) Navi pops (free-handed wings) were a moderate success! 000
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 13/06/2025The local bakery I went to today does babka knots on Fridays 010
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 19/05/2025We accidentally startled one in our backyard today! Much bigger than the bunnies we normally see. Both kids got to see it, so they were downright delighted. 040
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 03/05/2025Thanks @mindseyeyarns.bsky.social for the yarn recs! Made this korok and korok seed using Circulo natural cotton and Queensland Collection Coastal Cotton. The latter was especially lovely to work with, very smooth! 150
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 11/03/2025This is giving me flashbacks to my then-2-year-old's biblically accurate gingerbread men. 010
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 01/03/2025Listen, CVS, I admit that I should have paid a little more attention to the drug name. But I've been buying your brand of cetirizine for literally decades and this is the first time I've ever accidentally bought a completely different drug. I think this one might be on you. 110
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 19/02/2025Finally got my 4-year-old to try drawing. He's very insistent that he can't (even though he does at school!) so I pulled out a classic Ed Emberley book and we drew a spider side by side. I am so proud of him, and more importantly, he's proud of himself! 020
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 02/02/2025I let my kids pick out yarn for me to use to make them new gloves/mittens and hats. My 6yo picked out the most '90s yarn color I've ever seen. @mindseyeyarns.bsky.social I'll be sure to share the finished products when I'm finally done! 010
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 25/12/2024My spouse bought me the menorah of my dreams about 10 years ago, and I love it so much, but it's entirely glass plus little metal inserts for the candles, cleaning it is a nightmare. 110
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 12/12/2024I'm super sick with I don't even know what, but I did finished my first amigurumi project. I do not like crochet and am not very good at it, so I don't know how much amigurumi is in my future. 030
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 13/11/2024every time I see this photo of my oldest kid, the day we brought him home from the hospital, I say, "awwww my potato!" 020
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 01/11/2024Two suspicious crewmates were here for Halloween (no faces, but they are wearing ski goggles). I also had the worst time carving pumpkins because I didn't realize the patterns had difficulty ratings when I let the kids pick which ones I had to do. 000
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 31/10/2024I just finished knitting this blanket for a friend who just had a baby after years of painful and difficult IVF. 131747
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 06/10/2024There are, of course, mistakes. I hated the yarn I picked. And I only had enough time to knit the smallest version--I finished less than 24 hours before my best friend's wedding today, which was the occasion I was making it for. But anyway. I made this. 4220
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 12/09/2024I definitely owned almost these exact pairs of shoes in late middle school. 010
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 18/06/2024This is literally a dream come true for me. 1) You play as Zelda. 2) It's the adorable Link's Awakening Remake style. 3) It comes out right after my birthday. I haven't been this excited since the same thing happened 5 years ago when Link's Awakening Remake was announced. 010
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 23/02/2024show me a game that came out when you were 12 Just finished playing it with my kids. 5yo in particular LOVED it. 000
Phira @phira603.bsky.social · 24/12/2023The info page for the pattern: Please note that this is a very difficult pattern with a LOT of color changes. This is NOT for anyone who's new to C2C, and is only for advanced crocheters. Me: 020
