#believeinfilm #filmphotography I am in Germany .... and in 5 days I have only exposed 21 frames so far. I am currently helping our host (son) build his garden room. I suspect I will do more photography in the coming days. 😉
A picture of a cup of coffee and a camera sat on an outside café table. A tree and people, at another table, in the background.

#believeinfilm #filmphotography In Bridgnorth. Nikon FM2n. 35mm lens. FP4 +. FX39 II.
An older brick built house. There is a low wall at the front, an iron gate between brick pillars, leads to a recessed front door framed by a white edging to the porch. The house has symmetry, - either side of the door there are upper and lower windows - all white framed and leaded. A bush / shrub hides the symmetry on the left.

A view of the Humber estuary toward the bridge ... taken from a ferry rear deck. Clouds above. Dark waters in the foreground (I mean water).

#believeinfilm #filmphotography This morning, early light illuminated the sideboard ...... where I typically lay out prints after a printing session. These are all 5x7's, and I have a few A4 and 10x8's elsewhere. I can peruse them ... before storing them. Well, those not "stolen" by my daughter! 😊

#believeinfilm #filmphotography Nikon F60. 50mm lens. @ilfordphoto.com FP4+. FX39 II.
A BnW print. A flat, straight, tarmac track leads away from the camera / base of the frame to a vanishing point. An avenue of trees, on a flat grass verge runs either side. The crowns fill the top half of the image, and being in full leaf, makes a dark effect. Mid frame left and right are grass fields - and being not shaded provide lighter, contrast areas aso pointing toward the vanishing point.

#believeinfilm #filmphotography There is still no internet and with the grandchildren and family staying, they enjoy it when I set up and project old slides. This was taken when I used colour - about 25 years ago. River Mosel. Nikon F90X. 24-120mm lens. Fuji film. Phone snap of projection!

My Internet is still down. Near 43 hours now. Thurs - "it will be fixed by 2359 hrs" Fri - "it will be fixed by 2359 hrs" Today "networks issues are usually dealt with in 4 hours - thank you for your patience". When I spoke to a human yesterday, he was polite but barely more witty than the bot.

#believeinfilm #filmphotography For those that do not "know" me here, I am a prototype luddite and stick with making my images, the old fashioned way in the darkroom. I then snapshot it using an ancient phone for posting. It is sometimes frustrating to see how it views compared with the print.
