I think one of the most compelling predictions in the article is this one: "In good news, community colleges should be some of the biggest winners of the next several years..." As a proud community college teacher, I can only hope that we can continue to value what CC's provide.

Thanks for this article, I plan on sharing it with students in our discussion of A.I. ethics. Is it safe to say that there is clear overlap between what you call "A.I. Secessionists" and "transhumanists?"

Another worry not mentioned in the article, I have as an instructor, involves grading bias. Students who use A.I. and don't do the work will receive higher grades than the students who don't, but who put in the honest effort.

Love the underlying message of searching for meaning and questioning values. But the title of this article is misleading, Nietzsche most certainly did not embrace nihilism (which he thought resulted by the demise of other belief systems) but rather overcoming nihilism and the affirmation of life.

It was an honor and a privilege to study under, and work with, Bas at San Francisco State. In particular, his advanced logic course brings back so many wonderful and impactful memories. I can't think of a more deserving philosopher for such a prize! #philsci #philosophy
