Time will tell if Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez are good NBA owners. But it’s tough to be worse than what Timberwolves fans experienced for most of the last 30 years.

0220

And let’s not forget the botching of the sale of his own franchise. Rather than just selling the team straight up, Taylor got himself into this bizarre, multi-year, layaway plan that took four years + 10 months in court to finalize.

2140

There’s also the complete bungling of the Garnett relationship -- the only needle-moving star in franchise history (fingers crossed on Anthony Edwards). KG can be cantankerous, but it is the owner’s responsibility to preserve relationships. Instead, KG’s jersey hangs in the rafters in Boston, not MN

120

Taylor is also responsible for some of the most embarrassing front office blunders in NBA history… Hiring David Kahn, who passed TWICE on Steph Curry… Paying Joe Smith under the table and having three first round draft picks taken away during the prime of Kevin Garnett’s career… etc.

140

During Taylor’s ownership, the Wolves also have the 3rd fewest playoff wins (30) of any franchise. Taylor presided over the 3rd longest postseason drought in NBA history -- 13 seasons between playoff appearances. Only twice in 30 years did the Wolves advance in the playoffs.

120

Over those 30 years, the Wolves own the 4th worst winning % in the NBA. This includes having a top-25 player of all-time for 40% of those seasons.

Glen Taylor’s 30 years of Timberwolves ownership will go down as one of the worst tenures in NBA history…

2340

A storyline to watch tonight... Earlier this season, Brian Flores blitzed Jared Goff on nearly 60% of his pass attempts. Goff went 15-for-16 vs. those blitzes, averaging 10 yards per attempt.

Sam Darnold is providing the best single-season QB play the Vikings have had since 2009. Big plays down the field. Athletic ability. Keeping plays alive. Imagine posting this 6 months ago...

How dare FOX cut away from that Cam Bynum choreographed celebration!

What a win for the Vikings. Short week, traveling west, playing desperate, GOOD Seahawks team in one of the toughest road environments in the NFL.

4591

Wait... What? There's no way that was a clean TD. Did they not review it?

5140

Geno Smith is trying very hard to give this game away. But the Vikings have dropped two game-changing INTs...

5170

Really rough sequence for Vikings defense these last two drives... Allow Seattle to go 88 yards on 5 plays to end the 1st half. Then Shaq Griffin drops an INT, allowing Seattle to kick a game-tying FG. Oof...

6110

That's a wild penalty to call... Pretty sure KOC was caught on camera, laughing, telling one of the officials, "That's Justin Jefferson"

0260

30 TDs for Sam Darnold. He joins a short list of Vikings QBs to ever throw for 30 TDs in a season. Darnold Kirk Cousins (3x) Brett Favre Daunte Culpepper (2x) Randall Cunningham Warren Moon

0111

Wow. What a drive to start the game by the Vikings.

1171

OK, so a fan just ran onto the court and got arrested. She was presumably protesting the pathetic 2nd quarter effort by the Timberwolves, so it's tough to blame her...

2180

KAT is absolutely *cooking* the Timberwolves tonight. Wolves getting booed. It's not even halftime yet.

090

Julius Randle clearly felt left out with all of the KAT discussion this week. 13 points in the first 7 minutes of the 1st quarter...

1110

We're up to two KAT tribute videos with 5:31 still left in the 1st quarter! I want tribute videos every timeout. Go all in. And maybe one in every five tribute videos we can sprinkle in some trolling... Like an offensive foul montage or something...

Posted up at Target Center for Knicks-Timberwolves! KAT spent some time in the Wolves locker room earlier, per Chris Finch. And KAT just walked out of the tunnel for pre-game warm-ups to a big applause from the fans who are here early. He took a minute to look around and soak things in.

It's not about the benching. It's what the benching represents.

Kevin O'Connell is now 32-16 as head coach of the Vikings.

2250

Before tonight's game, I ran into a family of four making their first trip to U.S. Bank Stadium. They saved up money all year for tonight's game, just hoping to see referee John Hussey and his crew making some BIG calls. A night they'll never forget!

1210

Great play-calling adjustments by Kevin O'Connell on that Vikings TD drive. It has felt all night like the Bears defense is refusing to let Sam Darnold hunt down the field. So, run the ball! The Vikings did on that last drive. Gashed the Bears.

1210

Jonathan Greenard has legit become one of the best edge rushers in the NFL overnight

0170

Lesson learned today: Stop letting non-elite QBs hold your NFL franchise hostage

0510

I, for one, am just glad the Vikings convinced Justin Jefferson not to bolt in a panic last offseason...

Today is a great day for Darnold Defenders across America

3271

Vikings fans… Please… Check in on your friends who thought the franchise would crumble... #ButIWasTold

The best game of Sam Darnold's career. On the day Kirk Cousins returned to U.S. Bank Stadium. Symbolic, on many levels.

6373

Sam Darnold has been absolutely incredible today. Big time throw after big time throw, even in the face of heavy pressure.

0150

Sam Darnold with an absolute SAVAGE play. Possible play of the year for the Vikings. Wow.

6320

Kirk Cousins surgical on that first drive. One thing Cousins has *always* been great at is bouncing back when it seems like the sky is falling.

5130

LOUD boos for Kirk Cousins to start the game

1110

Today feels like Kirk Cousins’ Super Bowl
