August is Appendix Cancer Awareness Month. It is rare, but on the rise. Hard to diagnose because symptoms mimic other conditions, it's usually found during unrelated surgeries. Please be aware. And please pray for my dear friend, a 40 yo husband, dad, teacher & coach who is currently battling.
