Earlier this week, our chapter at the Penn Museum voted unanimously to ratify their new union contract! Their win follows weeks of intense negotiations. The previous contract expired on June 30th and members had voted unanimously to authorize a strike if necessary.

Hear from Oonagh in Visitor services at Philly’s Fabric Workshop: “I support the unionization…because I believe that FWM’s mission of elevating and supporting artists should include the skilled artists and staff that work throughout the museum departments to facilitate the museums success”

We know Trump’s new NLRB appointee Crystal Carey. We sat across the table from her when she was representing @philamuseum.bsky.social mgmt in the negotiations for our first union contract. The negotiations that dragged on for years and we won with a 3 week strike. We know Crystal Carey all too well.
