Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 01/09/2026"Oh how cute, there's a duck in our backyard. Let's see if it wants some bird seed." And then, next thing you know.... 130
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 17/08/2026Out of curiosity, why did they bury this lighthouse. 😂 020
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 15/08/2026I got to ride the motorcycle around the mountain where I learned to ski. Great memories at #MtAshland. 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Lost Coast lives up to its name. Solitude on the beach. 020
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 05/08/2026In all these years of driving across Perrine Bridge at Twin Falls, I've never driven downstream. Quite the view. 140
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 11/06/2026I think this mallard just flew in from the trailer park and did some ass whoopin'. 010
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 23/05/2026Adios, Posada. We will meet again soon. Such a beautiful, tranquil place. 010
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 23/04/2026Spring wake up. Time to start chirping and gathering. 130
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 22/04/2026A grouse doing grouse stuff. "You can't see me." Nope, but thanks for posing. 031
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 22/03/2026Whether pursued with a camera or a shotgun, chukar are the most annoyingly elusive little bastards you'll ever chase. God bless them. 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 21/03/2026I’ve been shooting wildlife pics for a longtime, so getting a first-ever shot of a snowshoe hare in winter coat is pretty exciting. #wildlifephotography 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 17/03/2026Self congratulation. I bled my brakes, did not spill fluid over everything, and no longer have to pump my rear brake a few times to engage it. Brake fluid: it's the smell of victory. 0110
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 02/03/2026Because #mallardmonday is a thing, here’s my contribution. #wildlifephotography 130
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 12/02/2026Today's bird nerd photo shoot. Mallard and ringneck duck. #photography 080
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Canada geese are somehow drab and vivid at the same time. #photography #wildlife 050
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Town deer can cause problems, and these should be migrating to lower elevations before winter. But they're still photogenic. 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 04/02/2026I'm updating my photo editing skills, but it's exciting as a photographer to have a photo pop straight from the camera. No edits, no filters. #photography. 070
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 03/02/2026Deer are still my favorite thing to photograph, and did you catch the one in the corner? #wildlifephotography 040
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 03/02/2026Shooting wild ducks with a camera poses some challenges during winter because they get shot at, so they don't like things pointed at them. #photography 0110
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 01/02/2026The irony of new camera day is you can't take a picture of your new camera with your new camera, so here are some ducks. #photography 050
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 24/01/2026My gauge of an artsy photo is "Would it make a good Pink Floyd album cover?" You decide. #photography 190
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 22/01/2026Stuck in the aviary, but still got the predator glare. #photography 080
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 11/12/2025Sunsets like these never fail to make me stop and stare. 070
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 14/11/2025Baja and a kayak go together like ice cream and a cone. 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 12/08/2025Being a lifelong trout snob, I considered bass one notch above trash fish, but now I admit I was wrong. Catching bass on a fly on a warm, summer evening is one of my favorite things. 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 16/07/2025I will never get tired of catching cutthroats from a cool, clear mountain river. 040
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 29/05/2025Haven't posted a hero shot lately, cuz, uh, haven't caught anything worthy of one. Yellowtail in Baja. Some of the most physically challenging fishing I've done, but what a blast. 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 18/05/2025Last night in Mulege. Hate to say goodbye, so let's make it "see you later." 020
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 12/05/2025First yellowtail on my new saltwater rod/reel. Feels great to be back in Baja. 020
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 31/03/2025First bass on the fly for 2025, and the first fish in my new fishing kayak. Twas a fine day, and a scrappy little pond pickle. 080
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 20/03/2025It’s now spring, Idaho, so can I please have sunny, 65 and no wind? 040
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 14/03/2025Fish head Friday: Channel catfish. A face only a mother could love, and even she has her doubts. 030
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 09/03/2025Welcome back, Daylight Savings Time. My unofficial start of spring when I get a few hours after work to play outside. 050
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 08/03/2025Today's Brundage scenery 10/10. Slopes were good, too. Guess spring is here, ready or not. 040
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 01/03/2025Thanks to my wife, @seeshell4homes.bsky.social, crack research I learned a flock of mallards on the ground is a "sord." I wanted to come up with a cool name for them, but they already have one. Sord isn't that cool of a name, though. I was thinking a "maelstrom" of mallards. 020
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 01/03/2025Cruising into the weekend like a summer breeze. 010
Roger Phillips @phillipsrog.bsky.social · 28/02/2025Fished Friday. Thinking ahead to spring and sunfish. 030
