Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 31/01/2025I reached #1 on Google for my most relevant keywords. That is for my real estate search weegee.ch: I outrank the main player who was there for 20 years. I never imagined this would be possible I spent $0 for SEO tools and wrote no blog posts. How I got there 👇 4211
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 12/01/2025I see myself flocking from 🦋 back to Twitter. Bluesky is calmer - but also more boring. It didn't spark interesting discussions, And never really moved beyond starter packs. 26240
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 05/01/2025When I was young Kids made fun of me cause I am so skinny I never was into sports Going into gym was out of the question I would embarrass myself! Until half a year ago I was close to depression And someone adviced me to go to gym My little story 👇 4230
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 28/12/2024I donated 10% of this years profits to charity Three reasons: 1. I feel grateful for having had success this year 2. I want to train my "giving muscle" early in my entrepreneur career 3. I know the people from the charity. Understanding the impact of the donation makes me happy 4230
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 27/12/2024How was your 2024? For us it was a good year: Moved from a 400y old house to a 7y old flat Got my first real internet money and spent it on furniture There was some bad stuff as well but my wife and me are grateful! 🙏 7230
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 24/12/2024Merry Xmas! Enjoy the time with your friends and family 🍽️ 4200
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 23/12/2024I created a traffic estimator. Which is a lot better than similarweb. Drop me your domain and I'll estimate your monthly sessions 👇 19210
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 23/12/2024My last weeks goal: Research/refresh 60 backlink opportunities for my SEO Kickstarter V2 With MUCH effort I made it to 40 - which is 66% I underestimated the effort. Or differently: I decided to spend more time per backlink. Am I happy with this? Yes! Cause my week goal kept me on track 250
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 22/12/2024I compared similarweb, ahrefs and semrushs traffic predictions against 8 websites I have traffic data from Turns out that semrushs' prediction is the best Only looked at SEO traffic Green means it's less than 50% off the reality 4170
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 22/12/2024How do you estimate other websites' traffic? Do you use… A) Similarweb B) Ahrefs (SEO traffic only) C) Semrush (SEO traffic only) D) something else… E) don't trust any of those as they are all wrong 350
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 21/12/2024I have issues with Cursor Is it a skill issue? I often cannot apply the code changes (no green/red lines). It doesn't see my code even though I added it in context (I need to @mention it to fix it) When "coding by hand" it's too intrusive - suggests so many things I cannot "type in peace" 6110
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 19/12/2024Was/is anyone looking for investors? What websites/services are you using for this? Context: I'm updating my backlink guide and currently brushing up my gust.com entry - anyone is using this? 241
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 19/12/2024My coworking place for today - the train! 🚂 Costs $40 to drive all around Switzerland 🇨🇭 for a day Took the 6:15 train from my village and now I'm already in the opposite corner of the country 21671
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 18/12/2024Anyone active on peerlist? It looks like a nice community but I don't hear anyone talking about it… 250
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 18/12/2024Science: spend your first hour of the day off the screen Bezos: reading the paper, drinking coffee, and having breakfast with his family Me: cleaning up the kitchen 4180
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 16/12/2024Does someone cross-post on Medium? If so - what's the extra traffic you get this way? 030
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 16/12/2024Anyone listed on theresanaiforthat recently? Their submission fee is $299 IMO they had their moment early year but nowadays the traffic decreased? Or am I mistaken? 680
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 16/12/2024Week goals update I only finished 14% of last weeks' goal 🥲 I got half sick, and also underestimated the goal A LOT This week I have vacations from my 9-5 job -> I turn into a FULLTIME BUILDER for a week. Goal: Refresh/research 60 backlinks from SEO Kickstarter V1 into V2. My workplace today 👇 4140
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 15/12/2024Anyone launched on AppSumo And had a good experience? I only hear bad stuff: - people rage-buying and then requesting refunds - 50% - 75% commission rates 13151
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 14/12/2024Who is included in the producthunt newsletter? They cover 3 products every day. Turns out it's not always the top 3. In fact your probability is… 30% in the top #4 15% between #5 and #9 I analyzed 25 newsletters. This is for v2 of my SEO Kickstarter 3110
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 14/12/2024I was worried that 🦋 was just a hype People already went back to 𝕏 Posted two questions on both platform. Got the same engagement on both. With this being equal - I enjoy 🦋 more. So I'll stick around here and will not use 𝕏 for a while 20941
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 13/12/2024As a side builder The most annoying thing Is to accept the slow progress I met with @dmonn.com this week He started as a side builder 6 years later he went full time Now even has employees Always remember the power of compounding effect 3140
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 12/12/2024People who got to the top 5 of producthunt: What extra backlinks did you get? I'm hearing that PH launches are a great multiplicator (e.g. getting mentioned in newsletters) - but I cannot find any evidence 140
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 09/12/2024Is someone still doing week goals? They were en vogue about 2y ago on Twitter. Helped me to stay accountable. Let me try to revive this: My goal of this week: refresh and migrate 50% of SEO Kickstarter v1 entries into the v2 structure 9191
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 08/12/2024How do you draw flowcharts for your own documentation? Miro? draw.io? Mermaid? 38230
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 07/12/2024Spent 1w of research which went into the trash. It was not working and in the end I figured I don't need it. It was triggered by the fact that "it can be done". I sometimes wish I could be a better project manager of myself. Anyone having good techniques to avoid the above? 12130
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 05/12/2024I spend 4h per week on commute It takes a lot of discipline But is my most productive building time As it's clearly time boxed. Any other side builders coding on commute? 32870
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 04/12/2024I have 2-3 products in mind which have a market and would be a good fit for my experience. This helps me to detach emotionally with my current product and take bigger risks - because if it fails I have a planB or planC. No reason to delay the "most risky next step" 5210
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 04/12/2024Crazy to see what my Bluesky post about @tuancao.me 's "in which starter pack are you" did to his traffic. Totally deserved! Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 02/12/2024I've been active on Twitter for 2 years. The past 6 months I developed a tunnel vision: Only interacted with the same people. With Bluesky I feel like winning new friends, I have capacity to listen to new stories. It feels like a new beginning. 19880
Philipp Keller @philippkeller.com · 01/12/2024Was coding bluesky automation for some days. Then went back to my SEO Kickstarter V2 project. It took me like 4h to get back in. Context switching projects is so hard! How are you guys with multiple projects handling this? 🤔 22391
Reposted by Philipp KellerAndras Bacsai @heyandras.dev · 26/11/2024I want Bluesky to succeed. I would happily pay ~$10/m to support the project financially so it won't die one day - no algorithm boosts, no checkmarks, just support. I'm 100% certain I'm not alone in this thought.
