There are obviously normal people with good intentions in the comments, and we appreciate all of them, but when there's such a flood of people who aren't engaging in good faith, it can be very difficult to sift through it. Until we do so consistently enough where we can reasonably trust them,

Maybe the reason she doesn't often respond to regular comments is because 80% of the comment section is people insulting her or trying to take advantage of her. That's the reason I signed up to moderate, to try and fix that issue so eventually the comment section is worth something again.
