Pace just crossed 300 downloads and $150 in sales. 🎉 Three months ago it was zero of both. No ads, no funding, no viral moment, just shipping updates, answering every email, and slowly getting better at marketing. Still small. Still growing. 🏃 #buildinpublic

Pace just crossed $100 in sales. 💰 Not retirement money, but two months ago it was zero, and every sale is a real person who decided to start running and thought it was worth paying for. Solo dev, day job, no ads, no funding. Small numbers, real progress. 🏃 #buildinpublic

Indie devs: quick questions 🙏 How long does it usually take to actually receive App Store payouts? Mine keep showing “carried forward.” Also: emailed Apple’s financial support 3 weeks ago about bank details. Still nothing. Normal? #buildinpublic #apple

Pace just crossed 200 users and $68 in revenue. 🎉 Been quiet here: turns out I can’t post about building and actually build at the same time on solo-dev hours. Something had to give. But 200 people are doing run/walk intervals with an app I made at my kitchen table. Real humans. 🏃 #buildinpublic

Today I’m doing the thing I’ve dreaded for weeks: asking people to pay for something that doesn’t exist yet. A waitlist told me why they want it. Now I’m offering founding spots: real money, before a single lesson exists. “I want it” is easy. Validation by wallet is the test. 🫣🚀 #buildinpublic

Back from two weeks off. No laptop, no email, genuinely disconnected. And the apps didn’t die. Users kept using. Turns out sustainable beats frantic. Now, properly rested, time to get back to it. Something I’ve been building with a waitlist is about to get real. 🚀 #buildinpublic

A stranger on my waitlist just emailed me: “don’t let life throw you off, the vision counts, a finished product would mean a lot to people.” Didn’t know I needed that today. Building solo, the vision is sometimes the only thing carrying it. Off to recharge for two weeks. 🌞 #buildinpublic

Heading off on vacation tomorrow. Two weeks, no laptop. Past month: launched an app, migrated domains, registered a company, set up payments, validated the next idea. The best move for the business now is rest. Compounding needs a founder who lasts. 🌞 #buildinpublic

Unexpected thing this week: I emailed an old waitlist to validate my next idea, and the replies stopped being “data.” People wrote me stories: learning a language for a partner, a grandmother, a heritage they lost. The answers were about love, mostly. I owe them building it well. 🧡 #buildinpublic

Today I officially registered my business. 🎉 Just an enskild firma (Swedish sole-trader setup), nothing fancy, but it makes it real. The apps I’ve built on nights and weekends now have a company behind them. A year ago this was just “I wonder if I could.” 🚀 #buildinpublic

Pace just crossed 100 users. 🎉 A week ago that number was zero. Now 100 actual strangers have downloaded a thing I built alone on nights and weekends, and a few even paid for it. Small in the grand scheme. But it started as just an idea in my head. #buildinpublic

Tomorrow I’m sending an email that’ll tell me if my next idea is worth building. I’ve got a waitlist who said they wanted it. But signing up and actually paying are very different, so I’ll ask them to put money down first. Scary, but better to know now than in 6 months 👀 #buildinpublic

Indie devs: what email tool do you actually use, and would you recommend it? Migrating off Brevo (the "$29/mo just to remove their logo" thing got me 🙃). Want something that won't punish me for having a few hundred subscribers. 👇 #buildinpublic

Plot twist: I’m now a TikTok creator too, apparently. Solo dev means you don’t just build the app, you’re the marketer, editor, scriptwriter, and the guy filming his own shoes lacing up for the fourth time to nail the shot. “Indie founder” is just a stack of jobs you’ve never done. #buildinpublic

Nobody tells you that the moment you launch one thing, you want to build the next. Pace is live and growing and I’m already itching toward what’s next. Not because it’s done (never is), just the maker brain. Still learning to grow one thing and start another without dropping either. 👀 #buildinpublic

Pace has been live since Tuesday, about four days. Numbers are small, but the funnel's healthy: people who find it download it, and some buy. The bottleneck isn't the product, it's reach. Early days, but oddly reassuring. The job now: simple, just hard: help more people find it. #buildinpublic

A few days into having Pace live, and what surprised me most isn’t the numbers, it’s how different it feels to have something out there vs building in the dark for months. Revenue’s small. But strangers use a thing I made alone, and a few paid for it. Hasn’t worn off. 🏃 #buildinpublic #indiehackers

Didn’t expect this about launching: the marketing never really “ends.” No finish line where you’ve done enough posts. Content, replies, outreach, tweaks — every day, indefinitely. The build was the easy part. Makers: how do you keep marketing sustainable without burning out? 👀 #buildinpublic

Pace has a founder price and I’ve barely mentioned it. Getting to your first 5K is free. The one-time unlock is at founder pricing for the first 100 runners — locked in before it rises. No subscription, pay once. If you’ve meant to start running, now’s the moment 🏃 #beginnerrunner #c25k #couchto5k

24 hours since Pace went live. 🏃 First day as a real shipped app — built solo, launched into near-silence, and people still showed up. Small numbers. But yesterday they were zero, and strangers paid real money for something I made. That hasn’t worn off. 👇 #buildinpublic #indiehackers

Reminder for anyone who thinks they’re “not a runner”: Nobody starts able to run. Everyone out there began with one slow, gasping minute. You don’t need to be fit to start. You start to get fit. #running #couchto5k #beginnerrunner #c25k

Pace has been live a few hours. First real numbers 👇 Small? Sure. But it was $0 and nobody just a few hours ago. Someone actually paid for a thing I built solo on nights and weekends - that doesn’t feel small at all. #buildinpublic

Tomorrow I launch a running app — made by someone still figuring out running himself. I built the coach I wanted: gentle, no shame, no subscription. The kind that doesn’t make you feel like you’re already failing before you’ve started. Tomorrow night I find out if anyone else wanted it too. 🤞

Launch prep, the day before: – Swapped every link to the App Store – Set up Apple Search Ads – Scheduled the thank-you email to testers – Drafted the launch posts – Scheduled the Product Hunt launch Hopefully it's the gap between a launch and a flop. Live tomorrow night. #buildinpublic

Launching my first app tomorrow night. Today was all the unglamorous stuff — swapping links, setting up ads, scheduling the thank-you email to my beta testers. It's real now. Equal parts excited and terrified. Anything I'm definitely forgetting? 🏃 #indiehackers #buildinpublic #iosdev

One week from shipping my first real app. The build was the easy part — now I have to convince strangers it exists. What actually worked for your launch? #buildinpublic #indiedev #indiehackers

Pre-launch mode: fix the paywall, wire up reminders, repeat. Coffee #3. Good product ≠ users. I’ve shipped solid apps that got ~zero downloads. Distribution isn’t the step after building — it’s the job. #indiehackers: what actually drove your first 100 users? Asking before I find out the hard way.

I’m a solo dev from Sweden, focused on shipping small, useful products. No big teams. No funding. Just building, learning, and sharing.
