Been working on this (in spare time) for nearly a year. Finally finished. Evaporation sensor system. Wireless hub foreground. Microcontrollers in box on left. Motorbike battery powers fans inside dome. Intended to help get a better understanding of factors that affect environmental evaporation.

Using Raspberry Pi5 as wireless hub in current project. Pi 5 are terrific little computers but they are fairly hungry. This 10000mAh battery lasted only a few hours. Need something bigger.

Building a distributed sensor system with LoRa as a bridge. Analog sensor connected to ADC then connects to Raspberry Pi Zero via I2C two wire interface. RPi Zero connected by Bluetooth to a Raspberry Pi 5 then bridged with LoRa to another Raspberry Pi 5. Using STM32 LoRa NUCLEO-WL55JC1 boards.

bcounter.nat.vg Interesting watching the number of arrivals on BlueSky (thank you @natalie.sh). Arrival rate around 13 per second. Similar to yesterday morning (Australian Eastern Summer time) Dropped late afternoon to around 6. Cyclic behaviour correlated with North America and Europe I suppose.
