I'd have to take a look at a politician's worth when they started with Congress until they stopped (or present) to see if they gained their wealth in the position or before (I know others continue to lobby after). But Congress sets their own salary, so doubt things will change. 111

That would reduce career politicians who are in it for the money and prevent corporations or the rich from buying politicians. It would also likely result in an increase in minimum wage. 100
